That looks to be Volcanic Islands, which has good support with amdgpu and no support by radeon, according to Wikipedia.

I'm not sure what you meant by "set up radron kernel driver", but you could maybe try blacklisting it.

From what I gather, past insulator discoveries allowed electron flow in three or two dimensions, but this new discovery only allows flow in one dimension. I think of it like plumbing, where you have a tee, and the water (electrons) travel through the pipe in three directions (dimensions). Restricting the flow of electrons allows for better focus/flow, which makes for more precise electronic engineering methods.

Sort of, yeah. As I read it, in a regular conductor, electrons move around on the surface basically however they want. But we developed a process where on a 2D conductor, like a piece of aluminum foil, we could get the electrons to only move along the edges. Now they've extended that where, by making helical (spiral spring-shaped) strands of tellurium, they can make the electrons flow directionally along those helices. There's a pretty good illustration from the authors of the paper in the article.

Served as "flat files" - filesystem, object store, what have you. No server logic generating content, just passing around of strings and binary data. Files are the representation are the source of truth. Counter to a web app, where the content response is ephemeral and the "source of truth" is scattered across a writeable DB and recombinated (potentially) on every request.

No, static sites are usually more js heavy because they offset all the processing to the client.

This is one reason I avoid static sites, and just heavily cache the server.

It is not a problem to distribute the decryption algorithm. The question remains against what this will protect.
Normal https encrypts the traffic safely during transit. With this, the data is also encrypted on the server. But if you can access the server, you can modify the javascript code to send the password back to a server.

It could be used on something like IPFS, where all data is basically public but you can be sure it hasn't been modified.

I understand, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some solution out there that could maybe feed the AI chunks of code without context... It may still be able to detect "hey you told me this software is supposed to do X and here it seems to be doing Y".

I guess we'll have to wait a couple of years for these tools to be accessible and affordable.
