Mocked, isolated and ignored: Trans people in Lithuania detail workplace harassment
cross-posted from: lemm.ee/post/64899569
- Transgender people in Lithuania continue to face systemic discrimination in the labour market, including open ridicule, isolation and psychological abuse, according to experts who spoke at a parliamentary discussion marking the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.
- A recent national survey also found that only 22% of Lithuanians would feel comfortable working with a transgender colleague. That number drops to 19% when it comes to a transgender person in a leadership role, and even lower if such a person worked at their child’s school.

TL;DR:
Craig Fuller, founder of FreightWaves and once a potential Trump transportation pick, says the 145% tariffs on Chinese goods have triggered a supply chain collapse, truck traffic from LA ports is down 23%, with 50% import drops predicted. Even major logistics firms like Knight-Swift blame "toxic tariffs" for plummeting volumes.

The first term tariffs also caused reciprocal tariffs to be put in place that caused short term ($27B from mid 2018 to 2019) and long term damage to our agriculture industries by enabling other countries to develop their own industrial base to replace the US. Trump ended up bailing out US farmers with packages that equalled 92% of that the tariffs brought in.

I live in SoCal and the truck traffic coming out of L.A. is substantially down. Before the felon's tariffs truck traffic would be so dense it would take miles to get over to the right lane to exit the freeway. Now traffic's way down to maybe 2/3 of what it was. The lack of container ships in West Coast ports has been well documented.
No matter what you think of the source, the big drop in freight traffic is real. CEOs of trucking companies should be seriously alarmed. Maybe even some Magats are questioning their choice in the last election.

Unless I'm missing something, all (regularised) immigrants in Spain are EU residents.
ETA: but yeah, taxing empty homes would be better but the people who have more of those probably also have friends in the government.
Non resident buyers means empty homes for a larger part of the year. Because these are only speculative or holiday homes.
Taxing empty homes is good, but also more difficult to enforce.
This is not aimed at immigrants. Foreign workers will be excluded.
This is still just a proposal, it may or may not pass in the parliament.

Spain’s government is pushing ahead with a controversial proposal to hit non-European Union residents with a 100% tax when buying homes, as it seeks to tackle a brewing housing crisis.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez’s Socialist party presented the plan as part of a broader housing bill submitted to Parliament on Thursday. The bill seeks to promote “measures that enable access to housing, since we are facing one of the largest problems our society is currently confronted with,” according to a copy of the draft legislation seen by Bloomberg.
Sanchez first announced plans to create the new tax in January, in an attempt to address growing discontent over surging real estate prices and housing shortages in areas including Madrid and Barcelona. At the time, Sanchez said foreigners were snapping up homes and speculating on price increases, and that non-EU residents bought 27,000 properties in 2023.
UK citizens are the biggest foreign buyers of Spanish property, mainly in coastal regions such as Valencia, Andalusia and the Balearic Islands. Germans, Dutch and other EU citizens will be exempt.
It’s far from certain that the bill will be approved in Parliament, as Sanchez has struggled to pass legislation since he formed his current government in 2023. The premier leads a minority coalition and needs support from about eight parties whenever he wants to get laws through — something he doesn’t always achieve.
To fight the housing shortage, the central and local administrations are also clamping down on holiday rentals, with Barcelona aiming to ban all short-term rentals by 2029. Sanchez’s government is also seeking to create a private-public scheme to build homes through industrial systems, that make construction both faster and cheaper than traditional brick-and-mortar building.

17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
18 “Which ones?” he inquired.
Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,’[a] and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]”
20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”
21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

Don't see a lot of rich assholes talking about this part of the bible. (Matthew 19:16-22)
21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
This was probably said with a cheesy car-salesman grin and a hand out. You'll note none of the apostles were poor. at least, not before they started following jesus
In short the assholes like Mike Johnson are 100% perfectly in line- probably- with the historic jesus.
What?
Jesus didn't tell the guy to give Jesus anything. He said, go give it all away, then come back when you have nothing to give me, then we can get to work.
If you read the bible, Jesus was very much like what I would have expected a for-real holy man to be. He was also constantly at war with the Mike Johnsons of his day, with periodic physical violence from both sides.
Even if you accept the scriptures as credible... they're the half-remembered words of second and third hand witnesses recorded fifty years after the fact. At best.
Out of curiosity, where do you think the shared money bag managed by Judas got the funds? Jesus and the disciples lived communally, sharing everything between them.
Again. You'll notice, none of the 12 were in fact poor. For someone not concerned with wealth, that's an interesting fact.
Even if you accept the scriptures as credible
I do not. They include some direct contradictions between different sections about factual events, never mind even the spiritual inconsistencies, which are massive. If you study the history and where things got translated into other things, you can actually see where some of the mistakes got introduced and why, and how particular people introduced particular self-serving parts into "canon" at different points for particular reasons. So no, definitely not credible.
I'm just saying that, when I read the story of Jesus's life specifically, the way he's described sounds exactly like how a real holy man would behave and how I think society as a whole (very much including the church) would react to him: With mistrust, hostility, and eventually with assassination. It's very different from both the Mike Johnson supply side Jesus version and the Sunday school version that is common in American religious upbringing. In fact they are so different that those three are all simply mutually unrelated to each other. American Christians are just telling the story they're trying to tell, making the point they're trying to make, just like you apparently are here.
I'm not taking a position about whether any of it is true and I don't plan to. I have no idea what argument you're trying to start, but I want no part of it.

CDC can no longer help prevent lead poisoning in children, state officials say - Ars Technica
cross-posted from: lemmy.ca/post/44698184
The fruit pouches: arstechnica.com/health/2023/11…
Amid the brutal cuts across the federal government under the Trump administration, perhaps one of the most gutting is the loss of experts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention who respond to lead poisoning in children. On April 1, the staff of the CDC's Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program was terminated as part of the agency's reduction in force, according to NPR. The staff included epidemiologists, statisticians, and advisors who specialized in lead exposures and responses.
The cuts were immediately consequential to health officials in Milwaukee, who are currently dealing with a lead exposure crisis in public schools. Six schools have had to close, displacing 1,800 students. > In April, the city requested help from the CDC's lead experts, but the request was denied—there was no one left to help.
In a Congressional hearing this week, US health secretary and anti-vaccine advocate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told lawmakers, "We have a team in Milwaukee."
But Milwaukee Health Commissioner Mike Totoraitis told NPR that this is false. "There is no team in Milwaukee," he said. "We had a single [federal] staff person come to Milwaukee for a brief period to help validate a machine, but that was separate from the formal request that we had for a small team to actually come to Milwaukee for our Milwaukee Public Schools investigation and ongoing support there."
Kennedy has also previously told lawmakers that lead experts at the CDC who were terminated would be rehired. But that statement was also false. The health department's own communications team told ABC that the lead experts would not be reinstated.
While Milwaukee continues to struggle, a Stat report Friday hints at losses yet to come. Looking back at the national scandal of lead-contaminated apple-sauce pouches, Stat reported that at least six of the CDC scientists and experts who worked on that nationwide poisoning event are gone.

Trump hijacks West Point ceremony to rant about ‘drag shows’
Donald Trump ranted to a captive audience of graduating West Point cadets about military drag shows, urging the students to focus on killing America’s enemies.
“The job of the U.S. armed forces is not to host drag shows, to transform foreign cultures, but to spread democracy to everybody around the world at the point of a gun,” the president said. “The military’s job is to dominate any foe and annihilate any threat to America anywhere, anytime, and anyplace.”
While college commencement addresses are usually a chance to celebrate the graduates’ achievements, the more than a thousand West Point cadets and their families were treated to a recounting of Trump’s war on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the military.

A USA today article seems to dispute this slightly. It's a minor tweak but in the sake of fairness it completely changes the interpretation.
"The job of the U.S. armed forces is not to host drag shows, to transform foreign cultures (and) spread democracy to everybody around the world at the point of a gun," he said. "The military's job is to dominate any foe and annihilate any threat to America, anywhere, anytime and any place."
Does anyone know whether he said "but spread democracy..." or "and spread democracy..."?
If the former like this post suggests, then it is indeed another notch in Trump's belt of horrific quotes that would get any other politician at any other time in American history vilified. If the latter like USA Today is reporting then he seems to be arguing that the US military's role is not to "spread democracy at the point of a gun."
'We are putting America first': 5 takeaways from Trump's West Point commencement speech
The 2025 West Point graduation speech comes at a pivotal time for Trump, who is installing his populist-fueled agenda in the U.S. armed forces, USA TODAY (USA TODAY)
to be fair, anything (any thing) a state does is under threat of violence. be it from “spreading democracy” or not paying your taxes because you disagree with how your town of 12k is spending.
a state cannot “rule” without violence.
but to spread democracy to everybody around the world at the point of a gun

The man's demented. He's seriously ill. Look at his clown makeup for the love of fuck! What halfway-well person does that and can't finish a thought?
Trump is the literal worst thing to happen to American politics in living memory, and I can't stand his stupid fucking evil face. Why would I want to whitewash his speech? What I want is for people not to freak out over literally mishearing his words and make a big deal out of nothing.
I listened to it three times. He said "or". It is not the clearest "or" to ever be uttered because the man cannot fucking speak correctly. But it certainly wasn't "but". There are absolutely thousands of statements he has said that are objectively racist, sexist, hateful, moronic and hypocritical that we can and should be mad about on top of all the other shit to be mad about regarding Trump. Hell even within this same sentence there is shit to be mad about with the drag disparaging. But that one phrase is not one of them.
Well there's multiple people saying he says "or" and about an equal number thinking he said "but" so I'd say it's open to interpretation. With anyone else I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, but with Rump, the worst way he could have meant it is probably the most accurate
Edit: Welp, I just listened to it and he clearly said "or", so you're full of shit or need your hearing checked

Belgium’s future queen caught up in Harvard foreign student ban
Princess Elisabeth has completed first year of master’s degree but Trump administration’s crackdown may jeopardise studies
Princess Elisabeth, the 23-year-old future queen of Belgium, has just completed her first year at Harvard University but the ban imposed by Donald Trump’s administration on foreign students studying there could jeopardise her continued attendance.
The US president’s administration revoked Harvard’s ability to enrol international students on Thursday, and is forcing current foreign students to transfer to other schools or lose their legal status in the US, while also threatening to expand the crackdown to other colleges.
“Princess Elisabeth has just completed her first year. The impact of [the Trump administration’s] decision will only become clearer in the coming days/weeks. We are currently investigating the situation,” said a spokesperson for the Belgian royal palace, Lore Vandoorne.

something i've learned by observing people who like the swedish royal family is that they all really like them. there are no casual royalists. the fact that this happens to a royal introduces this issue to an entire group of voters whose entire news intake consists solely of "what did the royal family do today".
personally i would fully support converting my country to a republic if we hadn't designed our entire legal system to make the head of state completely useless. instating a president would put a politician in charge of the country, instead of the way it is now where the king basically doesn't know what goes on in the riksdag and has no say in what happens there. so nobody can even begin to aspire to lead the country, which i like.
the exorbitant amounts of money the royals get from the state is a bit of an issue, but i do kind of like the novelty. one of my favourite dedications of a book is from Fairy Tales for Children Over 18, which is dedicated to "Mr. The King, whose mere existence proves that we live in fairyland"

This however highlights the fact that foreign students used to be a source of revenue for the USA. This is wealthy European money that was getting spent in America but now will likely be spent somewhere else.
This is also denying American Harvard business students the opportunity to establish lucrative connections with European money. You've heard of "it's not what you know, it's who you know"? Poor Harvard students on a full scholarship who plan on setting up their own business someday could have benefitted from being classmates with the future queen of Belgium.
My point being that even if you fully subscribe to "America first", this is still a really dumb policy that's shooting America in the foot. Foreign students studying in America were, by definition, bringing money into America. No longer.
Your points are speaking to a Trump voter that would never even care about those things because they would never actually apply to them. They live in a contradiction that doesn't apply to what you're saying.
You literally replied with talking points that only benefit rich well off bourgeoisie. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make or who you're trying to convince. Because this definitely doesn't appeal to the me (looking at this from a class perspective) or the idiot Trump voter (looking at this from a "fuck the elite" perspective).
The later of which is just, on average, an uneducated working class idiot that thinks we live in a meritocracy but blames the "elite" for their position in it. They lack class analysis to actually understand where to direct that anger. But Harvard and "Queens" are the definition of that elite to them.
Who is this article supposed to appeal to? That's my question. This is just garbage puff that distracts from the real problems with Trump's policies.
It only appeals to well off petty bourgeois Liberals that have nothing better to care about than some "royal" being effected by a policy that they are only, at best, collateral damage to.
/woosh
The criticism is that the media coverage here is around some slight inconvenience to a royal. Thanks for pointing to the thing the article entirely misses and using that to point to misunderstand my criticism.
I care about the working class kid that isn't gonna graduate.
There's a near zero amount of working class kids studying abroad at Harvard
Do you think this policy is only going to be unique to Harvard? Your comment is ironic because it's upvoted by the same people disagreeing with me that don't care about a royal. But can't see the the the bigger picture of who this hurts.
The entire criticism I have is that it shouldn't take a royal for people to care and it's absolutely silly to write an article around it. It makes the absolutely wrong point about who is harmed by this. It's literally pro Trump. Use to trick his base into thinking the "elite" are the ones that will be hurt. They won't. They will at most be inconvenienced.
But you somehow miss BOTH points. Somehow not getting my point of criticism of the article AND missing the larger picture of who these xenophobic policies will hurt the most.
It's starts here. At the easiest place for American working class to say "yep, fuck the Queen". And solidifies xenophobic policies into law. All while idiot liberals clutch their pearls as "the poor queen".
Yeah. Famously no other universities have been targeted. We definitely don't have a green card holding student rotting in a cell for months at this point. With not a single charge of a crime against him.
Yeah. I'm sure this rich queen is the only victim. And Harvard has definitely been the only school targeted /s
This is literally only for some old pearl clutching lifelong Democrat voters. "Oh no not the poor queen" is not something anyone that voted for Trump would say. Ironically, it's gonna be one thing progressives are gonna have in common with Trump voters. We both don't give a fuck about this queen. Trumps entire base is built on fake working class outrage.
This article and story does nothing to change any minds.
It's retaliation for this: independent.co.uk/news/world/a… So Harvard isn't the only target, but they're the ones that dared to publicly stand up against the bully and now the bully wants to make an example out of them. It's basically a repeat of Ron Desantis war on higher education, but now on a national scale.
Here's an overview of how other universities are faring:

There's a lot of libs that run off of identity politics here and are completely delusional in thinking that this somehow will connect with Trump voters since she's white.
What lack of material analysis does to a mother fucker.
That's right! You have the reading comprehension of a Trump supporter; expecting queer media to be morally clear cut and simple. You'd rather the writers have done nothing subversive with an IP originally created to promote consumerism; instead wanting some cookie-cutter corporate product that's easy to hate. How dare the creators take such a unique opportunity. How dare they do their best with what they have. They shouldn't have tried.

Considering her future job as queen will involve a lot of diplomatic and ceremonial functions it does kind of make sense to me that you'd want her to gain some international experience.
Also on a personal level i'd imagine it is much easier to have some resemblance of a private life in a foreign country, especially at a prestigious institution where plenty of others share notable backgrounds, compared to going to a local university where everyone knows who you are. In a small country like Belgium you probably don't even have much choices as to which university even offers a good program in your chosen field.
Edit:
Elisabeth initially studied at St John Berchmans College in Marollen, Brussels from September 2004 until August 2018. This marked a significant change in Belgian royal tradition, being the first time that a future Belgian monarch's education has begun in DutchIn May 2020, the Belgian Royal Court announced that Elisabeth would undertake military training. On 31 August 2020, Elisabeth entered the Royal Military Academy in Brussels, studying social and military sciences
Really seems like the worst candidate to make this accuse against
Elisabeth initially studied at St John Berchmans College in Marollen, Brussels from September 2004 until August 2018.
Something is off here. Ok, apparently the St John Berchmans College is a secondary school, but still I guess it should say 2014. Surely she didn't start school when three yeard old.
(Not opposing your original point, this just caught my eye.)
I'd imagine that "school" in that context is used more broadly and encompases stuff like kindergarten.
A look at their website shows that they seem to also have a preschool and elementary school. It even currently says that you can enroll your kids born 2023 now "even if they don't start in 2026", which implies that starting 3 seems to indeed be a reasonable time to join their preschool program.
Normally you'd expect someone like her to be the last one affected by something like this, if at all. So this drives home the point that it can literally happen to anyone, not just certain groups.

GOP won’t install Jan. 6 plaque honoring law enforcement, Democrats say
More than three years after its installation was approved by Congress, a plaque honoring law enforcement personnel for defending the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, is instead sitting in a Capitol basement utility room surrounded by tools and maintenance equipment. The cast bronze memorial to the officers, which declares that “their heroism will never be forgotten,” was required by law to be installed by March 2023 near the west front of the building. That was the scene of some of the most intense battles between police and supporters of President Donald Trump who attacked the Capitol in an attempt to overturn the election of Joe Biden as president.
The legislation authorizing the memorial was part of an omnibus spending package approved by Democrats and 39 Republicans in 2022 and signed into law by Biden. Leadership of the House changed in 2023 when Republicans took control and before the plaque was ready to be installed. The memorial has been in limbo ever since.

Something to remember when reading these numbers is that they aren't real money, they're the possibility of real money.
For example if we ignore the initial coin launch where it spiked wayyyy up and then crashed hard, the price of the coin was ~$16 per coin at the time of the event and likely the number being used in the article.
However just a month or so prior the coin was ~$8 per coin. So if this person was brand new to the crypto game they only needed to have $180k. Now 180k is still some major money and getting that exact exchange requires some luck. However that's not the point. The point is that this individual never had $360k, they only ever had at worst $180k. (It's possible they bought the coin at launch, lost it all and kept it, so maybe they had $720k and that got halved.)
But remember, crypto coin trading is gambling. If 38 people walk into a casino, walk up to a roulette table and each puts $10k on every number 1-36, plus 0 & 00 guess how much money the winner gets? $360k. We write the article about the person who won $360k. The other 37 people are just "the others".
Now if I risk $10k and win $360k I absolutely cash out and call it a day. I'm a winner. But if I don't cash out... Do I still have $360k? I have chips. What if instead I spend the next few months at the casino? What if I spend years in the casino? If I'm lucky my chip count goes up. If I'm unlucky my chip count goes down.
Don't get me wrong. There is potentially real money here, but only if I cash out. Let's go back to our social media influencer. They had $360k when the coin was worth ~$16 per coin. The coin is down and now worth ~$13 per coin or $292.5k. But you know gamblers. Never quit on a winning streak. Never leave on a loss.
So did this person have the ability to have $360k, sure. Did they have $360k, no. (Also this assumes the crypto exchange you have your "money" in allows you to cash out, which is not a certainty. Sometimes they limit how much you can take out at a given time. Sometimes they don't have the money, remember FTX?)

In most cases these people are simply so broken that they'll justify exploiting other people to get what they want in ways that people with morals simply refuse to.

Also they're willing to spend millions of dollars on a dinner like this because what's the downside? Losing that money won't affect their lifestyle in any way. US House Passes 10-Year Moratorium on State AI Laws
House Republicans tucked the measure into a section ordering the Commerce Department to deploy funds to “modernize and secure Federal information technology systems through the deployment of commercial artificial intelligence.” The measure has remained largely unchanged since its consideration by the House Energy and Commerce Committee earlier this month, though lawmakers on the House Committee on Rules recently added an exemption so that the moratorium would not apply to the enforcement of any law that “carries a criminal penalty.”Widely rejected by Democrats, the push is also facing opposition from some Senate Republicans, who would largely need to unite on the legislation to get it passed. At a Senate hearing Wednesday, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) poured cold water on the idea, expressing concern that the bill would override legislation to protect artists from deepfakes in her state.
“Speaking to the states and their actions, I do want to mention that Tennessee passed the ELVIS Act, which is like our first generation of the NO FAKES Act,” said Blackburn, “And we certainly know that, in Tennessee, we need those protections, and until we pass something that is federally preemptive, we can't call for a moratorium on those things.”

My city is currently in the midst of an AI facial recognition/predictive policing thanks to a secret city partnership with Palantir, dystopian nightmare
Frankly I would be happy to see my state ban facial recognition completely, but they definitely aren't going to, but please take this as a warning of what is definitely coming for you next!
We should have federal regulations and state regulations! There is absolutely no need for them to ban regulation at the state level other than the argument it will halt progress.
In reality they are invading your privacy and generating valuable data for these stupid AI data centers and they don't want you to be able to decide this sucks and I want it to stop in my state!
Not only would it ban laws for the next 10 years, it would remove existing laws. Some places already have a facial recognition ban, and this would repeal it!
It's nuts this seems to actually have some bipartisan support in the Senate, bc everyone is "so concerned" about America winning the AI race.
News flash, we probably won't win it. It was a dumb fucking idea in the first place, and yeah they put all of our eggs into the AI basket and it's probably going to tank the economy even more, but why TF should we be giving them even more control of our lives in the hopes that just maybe they can make a lot of money by further invading our privacy and doing some really evil shit with our data that will make the world an even worse place?
Here is an article about the May 8, 2025 hearing.
Altman, during the hearing, said that Texas had been “unbelievable” in incentivizing major AI projects. “I think that would be a good thing for other states to study,” Altman said. He predicted that the Abilene site would be the “largest AI training facility in the world.”
But Altman also later cautioned against a patchwork regulatory framework for AI.“It is very difficult to imagine us figuring out how to comply with 50 different sets of regulations,” said Altman. “One federal framework that is light touch, that we can understand, and it lets us move with the speed that this moment calls for, seems important and fine.”
Here is a quote from Peter Thiel protege, Michael Kratsios regarding AI regulation in 2019
“A patchwork of regulation of technology is not beneficial for the country. We want to avoid that. Facial recognition has important roles—for example, finding lost or displaced children. There are use cases, but they need to be underpinned by values.”
They have no values, I support a federal regulation too, but in case you haven't noticed, the people who want you to vote to remove state regulations in favor of a "light touch" federal regulation are also in charge deciding what that "light touch" federal regulation will be and if it gets enforced at all.
I cannot believe I actually agree with Marsha Blackburn on something, but she's right! Why TF would you believe you don't need state regulations bc there is the possibility the same party that just tried to sneak in this nightmare, might enact some federal protections.
Government deregulation has been in the works for a very long time. Do not let them keep taking our protections away!

Exactly my stance. Federal regulation makes sense when there's a common ground, but my first response when seeing the quote about a "light touch" was, it can't get any lighter than it is. If you want to push for federal over state enforcement, then present something that is actually protecting more than the profit interests of those economically invested in AI. Like human species interests, preservation, not opening something we can't close.
And before the "LLM isn't AGI" comes into play, of course it isn't. But if we're treating LLM R&D with a full throttle and safety concerns on the shelf, we're doing the same with any related field. And even LLMs can have alignment issues and be misused or misguided while connected to crucial or even life-threatening conditions. "We wouldn't do that." Of course we would. Money.
It's like a fucked up doctor Seus rhyme
States rights for me, and none for you, not if blue states might get them too
But if we all think about it you will see
On banning state regulations, we can't agree
They say the only regulation needed is a federal light touch
Because these stupid assholes spent way too much.
They put all our eggs into one AI basket
Why trust them now that the economy is in a casket?
Our economy is fucked either way
But handing over our rights won't make it magically ok
They'll have to figure it out, like we do with tariffs and inflation
Tell them to eat our AI regulations

I’ve always just assumed hell is each persons worst case scenario.
That's fair.
Saw this video today, two british doctors talking about the tragedy!

The side of idiots who said 'We don't like this genocide, so we're voting in a way that guarantees 10 more including at home while making the first genocide worse,'?
Why bother? These morons with room temperature iq in centigrade will just find another way to fuck things up.
Online bots will tell them 'oh, if you really want socialism, vote 'R' for 'Redistribute'! And the fucking mental defectives will fall for it again.
They're too stupid to be reliable, therefore we should focus on people who can be trusted to hold a thought in their heads.
Edit: honestly, how many chromosomes do you have to have to fall for 'If you really want to send a message that you hate Trump and his policies, don't vote!'
while you can disagree with them and think what they did was wrong, do you really have to use this disgusting, hateful language, which is also unnecessarily derogatory against disabled people? in this aspect you are literally as bad as Trump.
and honestly i wonder if you are actually doing some kind of right-wing psyop trying to drive away these people so they will never vote Dem.
Thats what you take away from this? Have some empathy for the people being murdered by your tax dollars, including by your last President, you little Nazi supporting freak.
If anything, Kamala threw your future away because she would support these horrible child-killing maniacs than defeat Trump.
Thats what you take away from this?
Every ... fucking ... thread (that reaches some minimum critical size). People have to go "oh, are you happy not voting for Kamala."
I see it how you do. Kamala would rather throw the election than go against genocide.
How self-centered do you have to be to whine about YOUR future under an article about dead children.
The world does not revolve around you.
all this woman did her entire life was raise kids and work in hospital.
im glad US citizens are aware how the IOF use their country's tax money

Israel's despicable starvation policy is a systematic war crime designed to destroy Palestinian life in Gaza. Its deliberate use of hunger as a weapon to eliminate the population - fits the legal definition of the war crime of starvation and the genocidal act of creating conditions calculated to bring about physical destruction of the group.
Is it one of the most egregious violations of international humanitarian law, of dignity and of our shared humanity

It's just sparkling ethnic cleansing.
