Additionally, Marxists don't have an issue with hierarchy, but classes. The Marxist and Anarchist notions of the state are different, and as such judging AES by how well it advanced goals it never had is a bit silly.

Im giving a go fedora silverblue on a new laptop but Im unable to boot (and since im a linux noob the first thing i tried was installing it fresh again but that didnt resolve it).
its a single drive partitioned to ext4 and encrypted with luks (its basically the default config from the fedora installation)
any ideas for things to try?
The error says /home is a symlink, what if you ls -l /home?
Since this is an atomic distro, /home might be a symlink to /var/home.

make /var/home a symlink to it.

Yes. When booting, your system has an initial image that it boots off of before mounting file systems. You have to make sure the image reflects the updated fstab.
You might be right. I was thinking of it in terms of a traditional distro, as I use vanilla Debian where my advice would apply and yours probably wouldn't.
From what I do know, though, I guess /etc would be part of the writable roots overlaid onto the immutable image, so it would make sense if the immutable image was sort of the initramfs and was read when root was mounted or something. Your command is probably the correct one for immutable systems.
sudo dracut -f.
mkdir /var/home then symlink /home from that, no? Otherwise, you'll wind up with a home directory that is immutable.

I've run across the information that ext4 can be created with extra inodes but cannot add inodes to an existing filesystem.

Since Psychopathy and Sociopathy are ranges rather than absolutes, it's estimated that about 4% of humans are Psychopaths or Sociopaths and we're talking about the what's basically the handful of people in a universe of over 300 million who seeks and achieves positions at the top of the Power Duopoly in the US in a domain well know for it's cut-throating and backstabbing, I would say that the odds heavily favour the explanation of them being very high on the Sociopath (or Psychopath) - so called "well adjusted Sociopaths" - spectrum than them being normal people who are "relaxed about personally enabling the murder of tens of thousands of children".
The image of a Sociopaths or Psychopath who actively seeks to inflict horrible pain on others for their own pleasure is incredibly atypical and Hollywoodesque - being high on those scales just means having no empathy for others, including their suffering or joy, and the result is that a Sociopath or Psychopath simply does that which they think is better for themselves and they can get away with (they care about the consequences for themselves, not for others), with absolutely no consideration for how that makes others feel, hence harm or even death of others is fine since that has the same emotional resonance for them as breaking an inanimate object.

I imagine we can agree no American president has been ideal? Some of the presidents who have given us the most progress in important areas like welfare, civil rights, and environmental protections have also been war criminals. Israel being a destabilizing force gives the US leverage over the oil rich nations of the region. That’s why Israel is important for the petrodollar. There's a good argument in my opinion for not voting if you actually believe it will lead to the best outcome. Like for example that if enough people don't vote it will cause our leader/parties/etc to do something better. I just don't think this is true. I'm also absolutely in favor of third party candidates that push issues and the electorate to the left. I just think that generally they should drop out at the point when it becomes clear that they aren't going to win and endorse the person closest to them on the issues.

35+ years later I think I did well enough to accomplish that.
My son is currently in the same boat, he's gone to check out (talk to counselors , look for housing, and jobs) and will be transferring his school in the spring for his final year, and has a job lined up at the beginning of the year (with housing) until classes start.
He's back home until then helping out in our place.
On another note, the anxiety and stress about the existential dread of working until you die is going to be there and my only advice is my experience in breaking up my short term goals- I only have to survive X years here doing this and then go to college, then another X years there , then X year in each position until I reached a "sustainable" place/salary with a partner and kids at this point to be witnesses to my (many failures) shenanigans.
I say X years because sometimes it was years, sometimes months. For example I signed up for 4 years in the Air Force, but that was broken down into 2 months basic, 2 months training school, 2 years overseas base, 1.5 years US base with a 8 month temporary duty overseas again...each part was shitty, but less shitty than the time before and in some interesting places.
I guess what I'm trying to TLDR is that if you break up your early life I to smaller achievable goals it will help you get to where you can have a life.
Now housing and pay is another story that, man....good fucking luck and know you have most (some?) of us Gen Xrs cheering you on.
