Because it's a war of attrition and it took a long time for the AFU to reach the point of collapse. Russia didn't do big arrow offensives because those would've been very costly in terms of equipment and manpower as Ukraine found out during its fabled offensive. Instead, Russia chose to use its massive artillery advantage to grind out the AFU instead, and now we're seeing the results of that approach. Pretending Ukraine was winning was necessary to send them more weapons. They would never get funding for a war of attrition which ends in their loss.

Hello, I'm having trouble unlocking my PinePhone Pro. I went through the introduction / tutorial, set a password, connected to my WiFi, and rebooted. But ever since then, its just been this spinning circle. I tried swiping up, down, left, right, nothing. I mean I can drag down the top menu or switch to my camera, but that's about it.
How do I unlock it?

I would try Postmarket OS with KDE mobile or phosh. Chances are you are going to want a normal phone.

I always had a desk and a bed and I made a point to never have my back towards the door when I was at my desk for the above reason.

in reply to brbposting • • •I forget the type of mic but there are mics specifically designed for picking up vibrations from surfaces (I googled it, they're called surface mics ffs, could probably use a cheap normal mic without a pop filter tho)
If those use USB or 3.5mm, or can be made to, then plug them in and on windows check the "listen to this device" checkbox and boom, you'll hear what's coming through that mic. Adjust the sensitivity to your needs, done
On other OSs you can do it too just as easily but I don't remember what my Linux distro calls it and if you've installed Linux you have enough info from my comment to figure it out methinks
