Eritrea is developing better standards for the export of organic fertilizer in order to benefit production and tightening up the industry overall. I love seeing food security in low income nations

Don't worry liberals, Trump loves Ukraine and Israel too! There is no need to be alarmed!

Azov Brigade veteran: "Official headgear for the next trip to Washington." I wonder if some 🇺🇸 liberals will discover they don't like 🇺🇦 neo-Nazis after all?

Are we supposed to be surprised that someone in Ukraine - a country at war, highly dependent on support from the U.S to continue to stand up to its invader - now appeals to the new hand that can either feed them or cut them off?
in reply to GissaMittJobb

He received it in 2022 and Azov really is a neo-nazi unit so it's perfectly plausible, I say this as someone who is generally pro-Ukraine's right to self-defense and self-determination and anti-Putin (and have been long before the war due to LGBT issues)

I don't doubt him being a Nazi.

I think his Nazism is basically orthogonal to this - everyone and their grandmother who relies on the American empire for anything is kissing the ring at the moment, Nazi or not.

in reply to GissaMittJobb

Mfer what part of "he received it in 2022" do you not comprehend?

in reply to Southern Boy

But I thought Putin’s whole invasion was about removing nazis from Ukraine.
in reply to jaybone

Aha, but Azov is very powerful neo-nazi movement. They and their allies may hold no political seats, but the only way to be sure is ~~full-scale invasion~~ special military operation. Will only be few ~~days~~ ~~weeks~~ ~~months~~ years
in reply to NoForwardslashS

While I also dont think that denazification was the actual reason for the invasion, I dont understand your point. The us was backing the nazis and while they lost heavily in elections, because most ukrainians are not extremists, they were commiting crimes against the russian ethnicity ukrainians. Was it better to wait? Or to send even more weapons to the separatists? I'm not saying that the invasion was justified, I just dont get your take.
in reply to wellfill

My point was that denazification was not the reason. So you agree with my only point and then extrapolated a bunch if other stuff.
in reply to NoForwardslashS

Where was there any extrapolation? I just didnt understand the need to downplay azov and the western-backed nazis. You also failed to actually react to my questions.

That's OK, I see that I'm on .ml and I don't feel the need to debate a 1 month old Russian bot account today.
in reply to NoForwardslashS

lemmy.ml rule 2, be respectful. it's public in the modlog at the bottom of the page, you can even go see for yourself if you want.
in reply to Fidel_Cashflow

Oh, nice. I can't see that in the Boost app, but is plain to see on a web link. Thanks!
in reply to NoForwardslashS

Also I somehow forgot to mention that there were neonazis in government positions before zelenskys administration.
in reply to jaybone

Where's the contradiction? "Putin" is fighting Azov. Or they were, until Azov retreated behind conscripts.

(Russia's stated goals from the day of the invasion rt.com/russia/550466-putin-ukr… (Demilitarising Ukraine was the priority with denazifying as a secondary goal))

Xi sends congratulations to President Trump on his victory and encourages harmony. Weibo however is full of posts about Trump's tariffs benefitting industrial growth 🐼🍉

What are you gonna do about it libs? Seethe at China harder? Biden did the same thing and it pushed China to research how to make next gen chips with particle accelerators, which not even Western companies have considered LOL.

Who's fault is that? The author or the publisher? Or the college board? Or the accreditation organizations? Or ed tech at large? Place blame where it belongs. Fuck Cengage.

in reply to frozenspinach

I agree but you can guess what the outcome of a poll in the US asking "is Russia a communist country" would come out as.
in reply to Avicenna

Next question:

What does or does not make Russia a communist country based on your previous answer.

Just wanna say, I've seen you on a lot of posts and I really appreciate your fervor in trying to reach out with hope and education after this dark turn of events. It's important work and I'm really glad to feel we aren't alone.

I don't know if we agree 100% on a lot of things, but if we win a world where we can keep peaceably debating the merits of various pro-human policies, then we've won, and that's worth fighting for.

Please make sure you're taking good care of yourself and getting fresh air once in a while too, amigo. All this doomsaying by people can weary the soul. But thanks for putting so much effort into your outreach posts. :)

Thanks, I appreciate the kind words! This is a difficult time for many people, but I firmly believe in revolutionary optimism. We can overcome our struggles, with proper theory and proper practice.
