Everybody Wants to Join BRICS - CounterPunch.org
If thereโs one thing the recent BRICS summit in Kazan revealed, itโs that when you divide the world into the West and the Rest, the Rest is a lot biggerEve Ottenberg (CounterPunch.org)

The true international community. A diverse collection of nations, languages, religions, and economic and political systems.
I wish there was a version with a better colour scheme. But this is the only one recent enough not to include Argentina and to include the upcoming tentative members.

False report of 40 NK casualties prompts Seoul to warn against Ukrainian disinformation
South Korean intelligence officials have adopted a skeptical stance when it comes to reports from Ukraine. Itโs gotten to the point where Korean intelligence officials are telling reporters to hold off on relaying reports about North Korean troops from Ukrainian officials until they receive third-party confirmation, because Ukraine makes โfake newsโ at the state level. This means we have to carefully consider the source of the information and the intentions behind it.
They said shell is guilty
Nope they said they had a responsibility. Not the same thing.
It basically translates to. Prior to this judgement no corperation could be held accountable for failing to meet climate targets. Now they can.
I did this drunk the other day.. apparently.
I mean I live alone and my cats arenโt helpful so I imagine it was me, but I have basically no memory of doing anything. I recently cut my drinking way way way down (from near-daily binge drinking to 2-4x/mth binge drinking and nothing other days), so maybe this was my drunk self trying to plea usefulness so I donโt abandon it entirely.
I woke up to a reasonably clean kitchen, living room, and nightstand, plus a hangover. These are not small tasks (as evidenced by the fact I didnโt do them sober), so really I just need to sort out the hangover thing and bam, adhd solution. Or something.

Revealed: The Israel Lobbyists Writing Americaโs News
A bombshell investigation reveals hundreds of former pro-Israel lobbyists working in Americaโs top newsrooms. How neutral is our media when it comes to Israel?, ,Alan Macleod (MintPress News)

โIsrael lobbyistsโ are not Jews, they are Zionists, most of whom are not even Jewish. This bloc consists of Jew & Gentile Zionists and the US military-industrial complex. This is a Western settler-colonialist project[1].
I try to point people toward developing real media literacy.
Edit to add: Itโs important also to remember that there are non-Zionist Jews and anti-Zionist Jews.
even worse, the fact that they gatekeep it with the 4000 series for no good reason just goes to show that they turned from hardware maker to designer of walled gardens.
i think it's way cooler how half a year ago i was able to use a mod for cyberpunk 2077 and mesa's amazing gpu code to run ray tracing and fsr frame gen together on RDNA1 - which lacks hardware ray tracing acceleration, and at a time where cyberpunk didn't have fsr3.
fuck Nvidia, making stuff like this impossible

Trenitalia is something else, and any commuter that regularly uses their trains can tell you horror stories about their services.

in reply to ASDraptor • • •Ironically, trains don't run on time, despite their fame.
except the london underground, that shit comes once ever 3 mins bang on time, I miss it so bad.
except the times I had to use the overground like a fucking chump, that shit's just national rail with a brand makeover. I had to wait like 20 mins to get on the train to go get laid after work.
worth it though

in reply to Skullgrid • • •You understand that that was about fascist Italy, right? And the reality is that they did not run on time.

my idea is more that they printed out timetables, set up clocks etc to claim that they are punctual.
