The Case Against Joe Biden for Complicity in Genocide

in reply to NightOwl

Don't care... he's done and his evils will be eclipsed by Trump by orders of magnitude.

But we saved Gaza by not voting for Kamala, right? ... right?
in reply to Tiefling IRL

This kind of comment has been exceptionally helpful all election long. Maybe y'all can learn that you aren't entitled to votes you have to actually earn them 😘, or don't fuck if I care.

I voted for hilary, biden and kamala, but none of them were suited to meet this moment in american history.

This is a failure of the neoliberals and their democratic party, but neither of them actually give a shit since they just make money off fundraising against bad orangeman.

But go ahead and moan if it helps you cope with what's coming the next 4 years, you've earned that much.

Dems weren't perfect and could've done plenty better and also it is the fault of the voters for being stupid as hell.
in reply to Soulg

“As commander-in-chief, I will ensure America always has the strongest, most lethal fighting force in the world,” Kamala Harris said during her keynote address at the DNC, yeah Democrats could have been a lot fucking better.

Voters are stupid because conservatives have been defunding education for decades and the Democrats haven't fought back hard enough to make up for it. Next talking point.

It would all be ok if these stupid leftists had voted for Strasser

Golly-gee, it must be something to do with Trump being the GOP nominee for President for them to do that.

You are so brave to be condescending on the Internet. The classic holier-than-thou “earn my vote” position is another loser mentality. If we apply that standard to both campaigns, we can clearly see there was one person trying to earn votes. And that person lost. I’d argue Kamala should have been tougher and demanded votes.

Did you even read that I said I voted for all of them? I never withheld my vote, but they certainly didn't earn it either.

I'm not being holier than thou, I'm offering valuable feedback.

From my perspective the pro biden kamala folks have been condescending as f u c k .

If she wanted to demand votes she should have campaigned on a more attractive platform.

in reply to Microplasticbrain

I understand your feedback and I apologize for my tone. I just cannot get on board with the idea a more progressive campaign would have garnered any more votes. The proof is in the pudding. New progressive challengers failed at taking down any Democrat stalwarts in their primaries. Even worse, progressive incumbents struggled to hold on. It’s important to call out that these problems in races existed months before Harris even entered the scene.

That is why I see the anger at Harris as misplaced. If more progressive policies were the true desire of voters, it would have shown in the primaries just like in 2018 and 2020. The winds were out of the sails.

"Who cares about the nuclear holocaust?" Said the man with the blue pin. "This fucking Orange guy is gonna drop enough bombs to destroy the world a thousand times instead of just twice like the guy I told you to vote for"

Minutes from 7 November 2024 WG Meeting

very helpful context, thanks.

One problem here is the "unlimited" in your last sentence. Mastodon servers cache and rehost images to protect the IP address of individual users. This means that an unlimited number of images opens up to an unlimited hit to the media storage cache. My plan is to make it some larger-than-4 but bounded number like 20. Then we need to figure out a way to indicate to the reader that there are further images you need to go to the original post to see.

In the past two years, Trump has called for every major American TV news network to be punished, according to a CNN review of his speeches and social media posts.

He has imprecisely but repeatedly invoked the government’s licensing of broadcast TV airwaves and has said on at least 15 occasions that certain licenses should be revoked

Oof, what a painful article to read. People with TDS have such trouble interpreting things Trump says! it's wild.

I'm not gonna go back and forth with you on this since it'll probably turn into gibberish, but Trump's rhetoric calls regarding these programs was never a call for a political policy, but a hyperbolic expression of outrage at how they have treated him.

Trump is going to declare a national emergency and deport the illegals! Straight from the man himself.

Securing the border is more important but I'll take what I can get.

Sidenote, I had no idea that Tom Fitton makes posts on Truth Social.

To those who missed the small disclaimer in the post, 1.0 is not properly released yet. RC4 is out, actual 1.0 release should be "sometime [this] week" (barring new bugs and regressions). See: blog.freecad.org/2024/11/14/fr…

Edit: Release is out now: blog.freecad.org/2024/11/19/fr…

How much support does it have for geodetic engineering? I'd love to be able to use more FOSS Software in this proprietary dominated work field :)

Twitter/X should be called Twix and a tweet should be a twext.

I'm embarrassingly proud of this.
