tuiplette is a terminal match-three game, written in Bash.
The aim is to gain points by swapping two adjacent grid cells to create rows or columns of three or more matching cells, which will disappear and allow the above cells to fall and occupy the vacant space.
When there are no moves left, the grid will be refreshed, and the game will continue until all (configured) reshuffles are used. When there are no moves left, and no reshuffles left, the game will end.
If the score is among the 10 best scores achieved, it makes it in the Top Ten Hiscores.
As far as the appearence of the game, by configuring the game accordinly, the user can select the game theme according to their liking.
The user has select theme between letters, numbers, greek, shapes, faces and blocks.
The colors selected are the configured terminal theme colors.

New DNA analysis from ancient bones supports the theory that syphilis originated in the Americas and spread globally through European colonization and the transatlantic slave trade.
Researchers reconstructed genomes of Treponema pallidum bacteria, the cause of syphilis and related diseases, from bones predating Columbus's arrival in the Americas, tracing the bacteria’s common ancestor to about 9,000 years ago.
This suggests syphilis evolved in geographically isolated American populations before European contact.
While significant, researchers acknowledge that unanswered questions mean the origins debate will likely continue.

GNOME software center tells me this needs an update but it doesn't do anything when clicking download, how can I update this?

I've had situations like this with my notebook where it would appear to do nothing from the GUI when clicked. It was because I didn't have power connected, and I think gnome software has since been updated to reflect this.
Assuming you were connected to power, I'm not sure but it may be worth reporting as a bug to gnome-software?

in reply to realcaseyrollins • • •BvS is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, surpassed only by Suicide Squad, which was the second movie I ever considered walking out on after Eat Pray Love.
I honestly can’t recall a worse theatrical experience than both BvS and Suicide Squad when it comes to expectations versus final entertainment value. I’d rather see Rise of Skywalker again, which made me so sad to watch.
EDIT: I see you might be referencing first or second SS. First one is clearly garbage, second is a solid 7/10 for most folks.

The only one I mourn is Joker (though not as sad about that because part deux has horrible reviews).

Joker 2 was great even though it was a pretty big step down from the first movie, but only I and Nando V Movies think that.

The trailer didn't actually have the slogan, just very traditionally wholesome Superman imagery, stuff like Supes being saved by a happy superdog, taking a big hit to save a child, hanging out on the Smallville porch with Pa Kent, that sort of thing. There are also at least two costumes in the trailer, and one of them is very old-timey with square-cut trunks.
Seems like Gunn has been tasked with channeling the Christopher Reeve movies and rebooting the Justice League (hopefully not entirely in in a single movie again), and doing all of it with more heart than the Snyderverse take on DC. Tall order, but he has shown he knows how to deliver the Superhero goods that the studios want while playing around on the edges enough to keep the formula fresh, so I might actually watch this one.
