I guess if you tell yourself a lie often enough, you come to believe it.

Why is every secretary of state trying their hardest to beat Kissinger's high score record of crimes against humanity.

Trudeau says not 'a snowball's chance' Canada would become part of U.S.

Trump, kindly go fuck yourself.

The actual reason why Canada is not already a state as revealed in Chretien's memoir recounting a conversation with Bill Clinton:

While I think furries generally have Bad mental health, it is not caused by being a furry, but the reason for someone to have Bad mental health is generally also the reason why they are furries

Example: i am an autist, and that is part of the cause for my bad mental health, but being an autist is also part of (or maybe even the) reason I am a furry

EDIT: added an „also” in the first paragraph

US Declares Genocide in Sudan But Refuses to Acknowledge Genocide in Gaza | Common Dreams

in reply to Garibaldee

it happens because we didn't give them the weapons to commit genocide.

Peter Holderith published a build for an electric go-kart for around $750, and made improvements to make it more robust and supportive for various riders.

The goal is to show that a real go-kart for adults can be built with mail-order parts and basic tools, without cutting, welding, or nonsense.

I bet it's a ton of fun to drive. A friend had a recumbent trike with a beefy ebike motor on it, was a total blast to drift it around trails.
in reply to ☆ Yσɠƚԋσʂ ☆

You can go a LOT cheaper by using used „hoverboard“ motors and electronics.

It's fucking BILD. Tell me when those bastards spew something else than disinformation and hatred and maybe I'll care. Otherwise it's just business as usual.

“The fear of being defamed as an antisemite or Israel-hater by Bild reverberates through politics, reaching the highest echelons,”

It is impossible in Germany to voice anything even resembling critique of Israel's government.

supposedly left-wing publications like Die Tageszeitung

I can't find the article in question by the taz but in any case they are (now) firmly on the side of condemning the genocide. Yes, I'm miffed at the implication on behalf of a newspaper, I know it's silly.

I am building a self-hosted PDF manager, viewer and editor

Hi,

over the last six months I have been building PdfDing. You can find it on github.

PdfDing is a selfhosted PDF manager, viewer and editor offering a seamless user experience on multiple devices. Some of its features include:

  • Remembers current position - continue where you stopped reading on any device
  • Edit PDFs by adding annotations, highlighting and drawings
  • Share PDFs with an external audience via a link or a QR Code. Shared PDFs can be access controlled
  • Dark Mode, colored themes and custom theme colors
  • Inverted color mode for reading PDFs
  • SSO support via OIDC
  • Markdown Notes

The project is built using Django, Alpine JS, htmx, Tailwind CSS and Mozilla's pdf.js.

If you like PdfDing please consider giving the project a star on github. If anyone wants to contribute you are welcome to do so!
