If I saw this many crows, I'd be expecting a wall of lava behind them.

KDE Plasma 6.3 Beta Released With A Ton Of Improvements

in reply to _carmin

Did they solve the problems they created with the last OS update? I think when they upgraded to 24.04 or whatever that is (I forgot). It broke my install and I had a lot of problems afterwards

Which problem exactly?

in reply to thingsiplay

I think hes referring to a specific distro. KDE Plasma is agnostic of them.

What exact update youre referring to? Framework or Gear? KDE Plasma (the desktop) doesnt have that version nomenclature.

I think the Joker would make a good propaganda of the deed character.
in reply to davel

Makes sense. He does public executions and poisonings of gotham's leaders to try to inspire other ppl to do it too, to get ppl to lose faith in the system and help bring it down. Basically wants revenge for whatever they did to him.

Batman maybe knows what they did to him, and conveniently never shares it, to make him seem like a sociopath acting out of pure malice.

Troop shortage and unwillingness to fight? In Ukraine? I don't see a single reason why this might be the case. How can people whom Zelensky treats as his slaves, who are forbidden from leaving the country, kidnapped off the streets, beaten (sometimes to death), held in basements for multiple days and then get sent to the meatgrinder where they are either killed/wounded or tortured by their commanders, how can they be unwilling to fight for Zelensky's regime?? Sounds like Russian propaganda if you ask me, no way this is true.

Still not as funny as him attacking the Smelt as a "worthless fish" the same way he attacks random people on social media:

"He wanted to protect an essentially worthless fish called a smelt… but didn’t care about the people of California. Now the ultimate price is being paid. I will demand that this incompetent governor allow beautiful, clean, fresh water to FLOW INTO CALIFORNIA! He is to blame for this.”

Lmao, he is attacking conservation of wildlife and ecosystems, not just downplaying its importance.

Better game performance in some scenarios when running a game natively under Wayland. It helps to minimize GPU downtime when it could instead be rendering.

At first I was a bit turned off by news like this. Who cares? OTOH, seeing that even the wealthy can't escape these disasters says something.

Anyway, coming from the Hurricane Coast, this horrifies me like no hurricane could. We have a small house, but it's only 7yo and has strong structural elements against wind and water. I don't care how your house is made, it's going down if a blast furnace hits it.

In other news, how could you be filthy rich and life packed in like rats? If I had celebrity money, I'd be far past the edge of town.

I think there is something to be said for having a balance between having space for yourself and being around other people. Seems like the rich maintain this balance by having mansions next to each other. I don't follow celebrities but do casually follow some Twitch streamers and it seems like many of them choose to live around other people so that they aren't lonely, despite being rich enough to live in the middle of nowhere.
