In part this is hilarious (in a terrible way), as I recall how there was fearmongering how piracy will increase because the US will no longer provide the global security for the sea routes. But we're seeing them doing what they warned against.

YSK that Elena Kostyuchenko is one of the bravest person in the world.

Not to throw stones, because I live in the USA, but it really sucks to learn that Chile just elected a climate change denier, too.

Yeah. The hope living here is that we are just The Ass-hole Of The World. People in general aren't suicidal piece of shit lemmings, it's just Americans, and maybe, just maybe, if we can stop ruining everything so fucking rabidly for ten god damn seconds, if we can stop being world historic fuck-ups and keep our bullshit contained, the other 7.7b people on earth will have a chance to start fixing shit.

And finding out any substantial group of them are the exact same pieces of shit just with less power feels incredibly doom, incredibly demoralizing.

Toronto- Quebec City high-speed rail could see dozens of daily trains: documents

It's nice to dream about investments and trains that don't exist yet but unfortunately nothing is going to get better for actual VIA services.

I live without a car, have to use trains, and current services are either lacking or overpriced. People without cars using trains and coaches are watching all other intercity options slowly whittle down while everyone else is excited by a shiny brand new investment project that won't move people before at the very least half a decade.

It would be an exciting project if there was a greater transit plan coming with it, like the revival or investment in regional lines. But sine it's "just" one line, in PPP, while everything else seems to be ignored, it's difficult to be enthusiastic about this.

Part of me wonders from time to time how the game is doing. But I played enough of it at the time that I'm pretty done with it. Was a Swain main. I got Lulu when she came out and then I think I left a little after that.

Ingen ljusning för den vilda laxen enligt vad som frmakommer av Årets laxrapport 2025. Den visar förvisso på en ökad uppvandring av fisk i flera älvar jämfört med de senaste två åren men det finns en dyster förklaring
