“The relocated population is usually counted precisely because dam companies pay compensation to those affected.

Motherfucking scientists are snitching on peasants scamming the dam companies.

Funnily enough there is actually a conspiracy theory going around right now in certain online circles where they apparently believe the exact opposite: that there are way less people on the planet than claimed - by something absurd like a factor of ten, lol - and that all the world's governments are all conspiring to hide this. And they try to use photos of empty cities and "math" (i'm using the term extremely loosely here) to "prove" it. It's flat earther levels of funny actually.

Rand sucks and had no concept of power dynamics. Fitting, since she groomed her students and forced her husband who was fully dependent on her into letting her cheat on him.

But WHERE'S THE PROFIT INCENTIVE.

  • Capitalists, when their wives ask them to have sex with them.

CC's web site and PoS system used to be run on an old Windows 2003 Server beige box in Gordon Chan's office into the mid-2010s. It used to fall over at least once a week. Then'd we'd switch to pen and paper receipts. Core i7 written by hand on paper. 😄

Official Announcement - A New Automation Utility - Automat

I'm happy to say that a new open-source game automation utility that I've been working on for the past 2 years is now coming to Steam!

It has a website at automat.org/. That website might be a little hard to parse - so here are are some links:
* you can check it out on video here: (I usually do a short intro on every development livestream)
* GitHub is here: github.com/mafik/automat
* an article about Automat: automat.org/live2025 (if you have any questions - check this out first!)
* and the Steam page is here: store.steampowered.com/app/412…

While Steam version is still in "coming soon" mode, you can grab a release from GitHub.

One word of warning - it doesn't play well with Wayland (it's fairly hard to interop with other apps on Wayland) - but I'm optimistic about this bit in the near future.

Awesome news. First order of business is to task Mr. Boegman to unmask the foreign influence behind @Scotty@scribe.disroot.org and connected sock puppet accounts.

Can watch and chew gum all at the same time. But parent is obv joking as no one is investigating a random troll on the non-corpo web.

I would like him to put these two appointments on his list. They both went from advising Canadian government leadership to lobbying for Elon Musk:
- Sean Webster, former deputy chief of staff to Premier Ford.
- Sharan Kaur, previously the deputy chief of staff to former finance minister Bill Morneau and campaign manager for Evan Solomon, MP for Toronto Centre and minister of artificial intelligence and digital innovation, during the 2025 election.

The truly rebellious action would be to make it so you can turn that bullshit off.

Congrats Disney, you did it.

You have obliterated the original message of Star Wars.
