On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump signed a proclamation imposing full entry restrictions on individuals holding Palestinian Authority-issued travel documents, alongside nationals from 17 other countries.
The White House framed the move as a measure to “strengthen national security,” citing alleged terrorist activity in the West Bank and Gaza and claiming the PA cannot properly vet travelers.
