Americké úřady zveřejnily tisíce dokumentů k tzv. Epsteinově kauze. Podle náměstka americké ministryně spravedlnosti Pam Bondiové Todda Blanche to ale nejsou všechny dokumenty a zbytek chce úřad zpřístupnit v nadcházejících týdnech. Blanche to řekl BBC.

The thick clouds of dusty material in the edge-on galaxy (left) glow brightly in the infrared wavelengths of light seen by Spitzer (red), while starlight dominates the visible light from Hubble (blue and green).

The edge-on galaxy likely crashed through its companion, creating a ring and triggering a burst of star formation.

A pair of interacting galaxies. The galaxy on the left is likely an edge-on disk galaxy, appearing as a slightly warped, fuzzy, white horizontal line with dust filaments at its center. It is surrounded by a red glow on the left part of the galaxy and a green glow at its right edge. The galaxy on the right is a ring galaxy, appearing as a blue circular ring, dotted with blue star clusters, that also has its center partially filled in with blue star clusters. The two galaxies overlap so that the right end of the edge-on galaxy intersects with the ring galaxy's center. It looks a bit like a big blue hand holding the Enterprise in a classic episode of Star Trek.

Při izraelském útoku ve čtvrti Túfa na východě města Gazy dnes přišlo o život sedm Palestinců a řada dalších utrpěla zranění. Úder zasáhl bývalou školu, ve které se ukrývaly desítky vysídlených rodin, uvedla agentura WAFA. Izraelská armáda oznámila, že útok prošetřuje, a dodala, že na místě zasáhla několik podezřelých osob. Zatím však není jasné, zda byly ozbrojené, ani jakou hrozbu představovaly, píše server The Times of Israel.
