Two prisoners linked to the activist group Palestine Action have been transferred to hospital from British prisons after their health severely deteriorated following weeks of hunger striking, sparking growing concern over their lives.
The hunger strike, which has continued for nearly 50 days, is being carried out in protest against pretrial detention, prolonged solitary confinement, and restrictions imposed on the detainees, including limits on communication and legal access.
According to supporters, the prisoners are demanding release on bail, improved detention conditions, the lifting of the ban on Palestine Action, and full access to their legal rights. Their condition worsened to a critical level, necessitating urgent medical intervention.
