Someone needs to tell you: two pints of #wine at a single sitting is #BingeDrinking.

drinkaware.co.uk/facts/health-…

A typical bottle of red wine at 14% ABV contains 105ml of alcohol¹. A UK pint (568ml) of the same wine contains about 80ml of #alcohol. The threshold for a #binge is 60ml if you're a woman, 80ml if you're a man. So one UK pint of wine is the recommended limit if you're a man, ¾ pint if you're a woman.

Frankly, two pints over the course of a couple of hours isn't watching a film with a glass of wine: it's #drinking yourself stupid with a film on in the background.

¹ Forget long lists of drinks with numbers of units of alcohol: it's easier than that. Multiply the volume of the drink by the percentage alcohol as a fraction between 0 and 1. So a 750ml bottle of wine at 14% ABV contains 750*0.14 = 105ml of alcohol. It really is that simple. If you want that in UK units, divide by ten, because one UK unit equals 10ml of alcohol — so that bottle contains 10½ units of alcohol.
