having to use windows 11 at work pissed me off so much that i switched my entire home computer setup over to void linux and i'm finally at a point where I'm happy with how it's running (this involved getting an amd gpu after despairing at nvidia drivers for a couple weeks)
now i can "easily" remote into my work computer using a very specific version of OpenVpn, because for some reason newer versions don't work with my companies setup, which then in turn remotes into a second computer at work where we have our visual studio licenses...
something quite comical about this setup but it works haha
i also set it up using namespaces so only my remote desktop is using the vpn and the rest of my computer still goes through my home network, because i am too used to our pihole and get scared whenever i have to look at a website with ads

Tried Deepin Linux for the first time tonight. It's pretty well done actually. If only it didn't [potentially] have spyware built-in... the network connection wouldn't stop pinging into stuff all the time. But overall, it's pretty for sure.
