I haven't thought to try stitching panoramas with my current kit. Last time I tried something like this, 10+ years ago, it was a headache that involved installing command line tools.
Three minutes of searching, and it turns out it's just a few buttons to press in #Digikam (along with the #Hugin plugin), and my 10 handheld shots of the lake turned into this lovely vista.
This opens up a whole bunch of possibilities!

(Software piracy in the Haredi sector in Israel, at least as of the early 2000s, is extremely high even by Israeli standards; there was an entire "you shall not steal" campaign trying to educate that public about software piracy.)
