I've been knitting for stress relief, but really frickin picky about the cog demand and just general joy of it. I'm not super invested in: "must complete this project!" so whenever I get into something I am not enjoying I rip it out.
But there's also something in there about giving yourself permission to change your mind, to prioritize enjoying the process more than the outcome. To backtrack unhappy paths.
I wish I had a time machine to tell my childhood self this.
So this weekend is the start of the fucking #DaylightSaving nonsense once again in the US.
So do us all a favor: If you have a Monday morning meeting, cancel it. Do it before end of day Friday. Tell your team members you respect their health and at least feel sorry that they all have to go through this cruel ritual every damn year so that Benjamin Franklin or whoever can rest in peace.

Daylight Saving is also pretty redundant to anyone with modern access to flexible work, video-on-demand and online news.
If you want to time-shift your day to get up, start work, stop work, watch the news, eat dinner and enjoy an after dinner stroll in the late summer sunshine an hour earlier, then guess what? Most middle-class people can already voluntarily do this with no need to force your weird ideas on the rest of the community.
(And working class people probably don't care or can't enjoy the leisure anyway while rich people don't count because it's all leisure anyway).
