#DIYDay As I woke up at 6:30 this morning due to it getting so bright very early now.
I started worked just after 7am and can finish early if I want. Instead, I decided to take my lunch hour early and do some painting, then do a few more hrs this afternoon and that means I only need to attend a video meeting tomorrow morning and finish some admin stuff... and woohoo... half day.
I don't mind painting... I do mind cutting in at the edges in corners and ceilings. Coving is easier because it gives you a nice crisp edge... but where ceilings meet walls, it's never even, never straight and I can never make it look good.
So here's my first attempt, it'll need at least 1-2 more coats and I'll probably have to go around with the white paint on the ceiling/coving to cover up where I've made a mess.
If I could afford to hire a decent decorator, I would.
So anyway... relish and mock my shitty painting skills.
