@Joseph the only reason mine wouldn't is that I'm attempting "zero controls" and internet connectivity to a LAN would require that to some degree.
It could be an open wireless AP but that's the wrong direction for what I want. I welcome the news of anyone else going down these rabbit holes though!
I do already have a GPS-backed stratum 1 NTP server on my LAN, and in public service, though.
