Recommendations to get rid of leaf piles - All For Gardening
First fall/winter at my house with a yard that’s just under 1 acre. I bought a nice gas backpack leaf blower which has been a huge upgrade from what IGardener (All For Gardening)
I let myself touch 120v wiring again to fix a problem with my heating system. Homeassistant and a cheap wifi switch win the day.

in reply to David Andersen • • •(the tl;dr: kitchen cold because radiator with fan under cabinet does not turn on unless it's incredibly cold outside. Uses an aquastat to sense the temperature of the radiator water and turns on when it's hot enough. I added a wifi switch in parallel to the aquastat and plumbed it with #homeassistant to turn on the blower whenever there is a heat call to the boiler.
My kitchen is warmer. I am happy.)
