I switched to $100/300K #LiabilityOnly for my MB ML350 & my F250 which dropped my #AutoInsurance cost in half to $500/yr because I drive them both less than 2.5k miles/yr & because they are both only worth about $10k at retail (less than 1/2 of that at wholesale) & if either were involved in an accident #StateFarm would probably "total" them & only give me pennies on the $ for in settlement.

In comparison, my MR2 & 335i, that I also drive less than 2.5k miles/yr & are each also only worth about $10k at retail, are fully covered by #Haggerty for a total of $600/yr. 🤷

Chief Constable of West Midlands Police Craig Guildford defended his decision to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from a football match against Aston Villa. He says the force made an informed decision based on intelligence provided by Dutch police about the conduct of Maccabi fans during a match against Amsterdam in November 2024.

Last year, all the residents of my apartment building (most of whom are in their late 70s) were invited to get together and bake pepperkaker (Norwegian gingerbread cookies). Some of them met up, baked and decorated the cookies, or just came by having a toddy and chat for a bit. A box of cookies were then placed in the entrance hall every Sunday during Advent (and all week between Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve) for everyone to enjoy. They did the same thing again this year and I just love that something like this is possible.
