I hate that by default #macOS hides scroll bars at rest. I mean, look at that settings tab in #FaceTime. It appears to show everything, but there's more if you scroll down which isn't obvious because scroll bars are hidden.

The fix, for you and future Carlo: System Settings → Appearance → "Show scroll bars" → set to "Always"

It was my mistake, I didn't read carefully and minor/major are similar words, and I have a habit of clicking through CWs before thinking.

(FWIW the minor spoilers didn't feel spoilery, this one isn't a story spoiler but it might be a mood/foreshadowing kind of spoiler?)

But I currently plan on starting from the beginning so it'll be a while, and I probably will have forgotten 😛

yeah we err on the cautious side because we know it was stuff we wanted to go into the game not knowing, not so much so the plot could surprise us as so we could have that vintage experience of not even knowing what was going to be in the game box, which has been impossible since 1998 but which we are still nostalgic for

Das Problem ist, dass man versucht zu behaupten, der Wärmeverlust könne verringert werden. Daher das Narrativ der Hocheffizienz, wenn man sich nur stark genug bemüht.

Aber es gibt einen Korridor an Wärmeenergie, die unterschiedliche Komponenten vertragen oder mindestens benötigen.

Der Motorblock würde sonst verglühen oder der Katalysator nicht funktionieren oder wir hätten zu viele Stickoxide.

Also muss gekühlt und Wärme abgeleitet werden, das Explosionsgemisch muss heiß sein (aber nicht zu heiß), die Wärme durch den Kat und Auspuff noch hoch genug.

Da hat man kaum Chancen, es noch um 5% effizienter zu machen.

Dann das Problem, dass der Motor auf bestimmte Geschwindigkeiten optimiert ist und entweder auf der Autobahn oder im Stadtverkehr komplett ineffizient bleibt.

I use fountain pens and fountain pen ink, and also dip pens and ink for those. I am not an expert, but I have a fairly good understanding of both ink and pens, and also a ton of stuff I recommend to people who want to start using this kind of pen (and also maybe a few don'ts).

@mhoye The pen I am suggesting if you're just starting out is a platinum preppy, for the record. It comes with ink, and if you like it you can buy refills. Getting something like a pilot varsity or the zebra equivalent (disposable pen but with an fp nib) is also good to just try it out and get used to what it feels like and how to write with it. 6/7

@mhoye It does not have to be an expensive hobby, or expensive to start, is what I am trying to say. People see nerds like me with pricey pens and lots of ink bottles and think I've not money nor space for that - but it can just be a pen and some spare cartridges, or a bottle of ink, too. Or anything in between! That's what I was like for 20 years.

(I also have opinions on ball pens, and gel pens, and will buy refillable good ones of those too) 7/7
