Spouse was commenting on how obviously cheap a movie The Princess Bride was. Look at the ship set or stop & study the costumes to see what I mean.
But the thing about it is—the thing that is so great—is that it works.
All of those sets, costumes, & props do their jobs. Are they hyper-realistic or intricately designed? Oh fuck no, but that's not what the movie called for.
It's a film that just works. With the charisma of that cast & the strength of that script, it does what it needs to do.

Use your broom to scrub the shower/bathtub. Both get clean and if you'd been doing it this way all along you probably wouldn't be disabled by now, dumbass.
That's what I do on the daily. Vinegar, water, couple drops of Dawn in a spray bottle. Spritz the whole thing after I get out. Put a couple drops of lemon oil in there if you feel feisty. For deep clean I sprinkle baking soda in the bottom and spray the whole thing down good with the vinegar spray. Scrub with my broom, rinse, done. We have INCREDIBLY hard water.

I've always fancied a "generational" #Shadowrun campaign that featured the same "runner crew" as it changes and grows over the years and decades - starting in the year 2025, and following the twists and turns of the Shadowrun metaplot.
But I want to use the same #ttrpg rule system throughout. The various Shadowrun editions are too messy for my tastes. And I do not have the free time to convert it to GURPS.

Gesundheits- und Sicherheitseinrichtungen beklagen schon seit zig Jahren, dass es zu #Silvester eine Häufung von teilweise sehr schlimmen #Verletzungen bis hin zu Todesfällen im Kontext von Böllern, Raketen und illegalen Sprengsätzen gibt.
Diejenigen, die dieser Tage lustigen Schabernack treiben, wollen einfach nur die Häufung von Krankenhausbehandlungen zu Silvester auf die Tage davor verschieben, um die Chirurgen an den Feiertagen zu entlasten. 😜
