It might sound weird, but we don't have any plans to bake AI into @getkirby We are well aware that a significant part of our customers would not appreciate forcing AI upon them. And we respect that. Kirby is a highly extensible system. We are already seeing great integrations. But it's all about having a choice and it's also about sticking to our philosophy. You should be able to add things to Kirby. You should not have to remove them in order to make it work for you or your values.

My #AOTY2025 list is done. There were 21 albums/EPs released this year that I liked enough to buy.

Kicking things off at number 21 is The Mechanics of Mysticism by Ether Diver. This is a really interesting (and quite fun) electronic/ambient/experimental album from fellow fedi-denizen @etherdiver

Is inflation the only reason that we're not in a recession related to consumer spending?
in reply to Kyle Montanio

@FantasticalEconomics 😂 sounds about white. Nevermind, carry on. 😅

The gist was "Could inflation be high enough, that if offsets the GDP numbers that would otherwise show a recession?"

Is that stagflation?

in reply to Sir Rochard 'Dock' Bunson

@SrRochardBunson

I could see it being connected to stagflation (high inflation paired with slow growth and high unemployment).

GDP is going to be reported in current dollars, which is dependent on the value of the dollar and inflation. So high rates of inflation will reduce the real GDP compared to the reported nominal GDP.

That said, it should only be able to cover up a flagging economy for a short while.
