I'm really hoping the bright spot with hardware cost increases is a focus on making everything work on old or low powered systems. Wanna give these hardware vendors the middle finger? Make your stuff work on a fucking potato so upgrades are slower.
Like, how can we make a browser work fine on a low end Android phone but not on a second gen Intel i5? Why is it okay that WWE 2K25 is taking up 150GB of space on my kids PC? Why does the Pop Shop use 1GB of RAM idling in the background?
