Every story has an end. Today I say goodbye to my longest relationship, the Logitech Marble, after more than 20 years, for better or worse.
All hail my new Kensington Orbit.
I use a trackball on my left side, so my options are limited to just a few ambidextrous models on the market (the Orbit and the Expert).
So far, the Orbit feels less ergonomic than the Logitech: the ball is too high, and with my small hands my fingers overstretch to manipulate it l but I don’t have much choice.
Much to my dismay, I've opened an Instagram account. Don't have the time or energy to be a pain in the butt about it, just quietly use it to find info I really can't access otherwise because public agencies and such don't offer a fuckin open alternative. So annoyed.
Question: A few weeks I saw pass by on the Mastodon TL a concise, technically inclined blog post explaining anti-cheat software in Windows gaming and why you don't find it working on Linux. The author's Mastopost about it used some specific wording like "This describes the world as it is, not as we want it to be". I am trying to find this to link it to a friend. Does anyone know what this post might have been?
