#Journal of a Dutch AuDHD Pixy
(Friday, 16/01/2026).
I woke up only once for the loo, and then snoozed together with Bas until the alarm woke us up again. Went to the scale, with its usual antics, and got dressed after that. I took my meds, put on my shoes, and Bas and I went out for walkies. After Bas had gotten his sniffs, and done his business, we got home again.
We went upstairs, where Bas took his preferred spot on the foldable guestbed again, and I got to the bike. I rode it for 45 minutes, and then I switched to the rowing machine. I did my best to get some good strokes in, which gave me quite a high HR. Bas and I headed downstairs after that, where I relaxed a wee bit, until I got to the treadmill for half an hour.
After I was done, I washed up and dressed, and Bas and I went out for a walk. Bas got more sniffs and all in, enjoying his time out and about. When we got back, I fixed brekky for the both of us. Then, I got my laptop, and worked on my blog, played a bit with AI, and then some Mastodon posting. After that, I read a bit, until Bas wanted some walkies again. When we got back, we put the green bin to the curb, and got back to the couch for some relaxing.
I read for a while, until it was time to fix some food. After the food had been enjoyed, Bas and I went out for a short walk again. Some more relaxing, until it was almost time for me to head to Cuijk for PT. A last walk with Bas, and then I got to Skoosh, and went on my way.
All went well, and the physio switched my appointment, so I was done a bit earlier. I quickly headed back, as I feared that Bas was singing the song of his people... Fortunately, my neighbors both seemed to be out and about. Poor Bas was so anxious when I got back.
We went out for a quick pee, and then I got the small vacuum, and tried to clean the floors a wee bit. Bas and I relaxed for a while, until the big black 🖤 fluff was ready for his walkies, and we joined them. After the walk, I got everything ready for bedtime.
It didn't take too long to fall asleep, with Bas snuggled up against me. I woke up once for the loo, got back to bed, and snuggled with Bas again, until I woke up a minute before the alarm was set to go off. We got up and started our "day".
Thanks to all for your kindness and support during my "journey through daily life"
I really appreciate it 💜 as it helps me to keep going on bad/harder days!
