P. G. Wodehouse's story "Extricating Young Gussie" is published in The Saturday Evening Post (U.S.). It introduces as characters Jeeves and Bertie.

It was published in the United Kingdom in the January 1916 edition of The Strand Magazine. It was included in the collection The Man with Two Left Feet (1917).

if you like wodehouse, be sure to look for the "wodehouse playhouse". It is a bunch of short videos showing all the predicaments he cooks up for his characters, and it is hysterically funny.

They are deeply spiritual places, which is not the same as religious. They are places that can help you connect with something more.

So true. We visited Coventry Cathedral a while back - the 1960s architecture totally different to the usual Gothic style - and the stillness and sense of spirituality as you ventured through it was palpable.

Swan Warrior WIP steps. Behold the ugly stage!
Here I started out without a particular story, but a very specific idea of a dark silhouette of a cloaked, sword-wielding warrior figure against a light background, using a limited palette with grays and teals.
Basically thinking "this would look cool af, so I wanna paint it".
