I've been considering doing a sort of recurring themed series of videos showcasing free (as in 100% free, not free-to-play, not free-with-paid-cosmetics) and open source games. Call it FOSSS (FOSS Saturday)!

"The most important value, he says, is freedom. But his is a broadened concept of freedom, “conceived as having inherent ties to notions of equity, justice and well-being”. A key part of his argument is that the “powerful strands in modern economic thinking” that have come to be termed neoliberal assume that “the freedom that matters most, and from which other freedoms indeed flow, is the freedom of unregulated, unfettered markets”."
"This conflation of freedom with unregulated markets comes with “huge risks for society”. The policies that “freed” the financial sector, Stiglitz points out, led directly to the “the largest financial crash in three-quarters of a century”. Deregulating the banks and failing to regulate derivatives led bankers to use their new freedom to “enhance their profits”."

Yes, similar subject matter to that of the book I referenced earlier, Democracy in Chains. This crowd, including Charles Koch, understood that a large majority of the US voting population disagreed with them on individual issues and their broad plans to stifle democracy so they moved toward their goal via carefully hidden but coordinated pathways. They took the long view not expecting things to change in one election cycle.
I think they fully expected Trump to win this year so they finally were coming out of the shadows in creating the Project 2025 document. When Harris took over they were caught off guard. It was too late to undo the reveal. Trump had to do his little dance of denial despite the factual record of the participation of many of his cronies in its creation and his own praise for the Heritage Foundation.

Richard Bilton (as an aside, I remember him when he was a cub reporter on local/regional TV) sets out the debacle of HS2 in a summary narrative that still has the capacity (no pun intended -see conclusion of piece) to shock when it comes to the monumental waste of money, which could have been spent on a better/more pragmatic upgrade of the relevant railway lines....
Once again (as I posted a while ago) delays for review raised costs...
