Palestinian triplets from the al-Bayouk family were born prematurely and have been separated from their mother, Hanan, who was forced to leave them at a hospital in Jerusalem when her Israeli-issued permit expired before October 7.
Since the war began on that date, Israel has not been issuing permits for Gaza residents to visit Jerusalem, resulting in the separation of Hanan from her three girls.
Food for Mellie has arrived. Never thought I would buy a big package of dog food like this, but the price per kilo is less than 1/3rd compared to buying 1.5kg packs.
Just need to find a place to store it safely (kept the old package so I can reuse it while storing this in a large container.

Mellie is so picky, she was so spoiled during the time living in US with my wife and kids and I just don't have the time and energy to deal with her sensitive stomach problems and vomiting.
This was 100 euros including shipping and will last at least 6 months. I just add some carrots, tomatoes and cheap sausage to it to spice it up and it's been doing great with her stomach and she is gaining weight back to her normal weight now.
Plus she is happier and eating 2-3 meals pee day and not begging any more.
She is giving me anxiety problems, she is so sensitive to noise, scared of busses, trucks, scooters and of course storms and fireworks. When my wife comes back, ww will have separate houses and she will be living with her. I will be having chickens, Guinea pigs, Quails and possibly geese. Not sure about having a dog. I love having them, but I honestly don't know with my low retirement level I would be able to afford one.

How long ago did she move to Europe? Maybe she's still out of sorts from that.
Our hound didn't used to care about storms or fireworks when we lived farther inland, but the little dog we lost earlier this year would shake uncontrollably. A Thundershirt helped some but not really enough. When we moved closer to the coast, they switched—little one no longer cared about fireworks, or storms unless there was a lot of bright lightning, but now the hound is scared! 🤦♀️ TL;DR the point being that geography seems to make some sort of difference in their fear level. Both houses are concrete block on slab, so I wouldn't think it's that.
Having separate spaces in retirement is not a bad idea! 24-hour togetherness is a challenge. Right now I'd like to be baking a cake and making coffee, but he's asleep so I can't.
Has it ever been suggested that journalists take an oath, similar to the one the President takes to: "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." Could be voluntary. Sports reporters might take a different oath.
“A man suspected in an apparent assassination attempt targeting #Trump was charged Monday with federal gun crimes. During an 8-minute hearing, prosecutors levied two charges against him: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
Officials said #Routh could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted on the first charge, and a possible five-year sentence on the second charge.”

He has again signed a decree increasing the Armed Forces to 2.389 million people, among them 1.5 million servicemen.
He previously increased the size of the army last December. Then, it rose to 2.21 million people and 1.32 million servicemen.

The truth is, we already sort of have one: It’s called the national debt.

Excellent point.

We women have spared men the details of what a "mine field" reproduction can be; time to confront them with graphic truth.

"The availability of D&Cs for both abortions and routine miscarriage care helped save lives after the 1973 Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade, studies show, reducing the rate of maternal deaths for women of color by up to 40% the first year after abortion became legal."
