I posted this on Tumblr. I didn't think it would go far. But ... people have clipped it from Tumblr, shared in on Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, it's had at least ONE AI read on Tiktok, and a few on Youtube ... so ... just so you know who posted it ... Hi. My pharmacist stole my deadname.

For only the second time in its 179-year history, the editors of Scientific American are endorsing a candidate for president. That person is Kamala Harris.

Title: "Vote for Kamala Harris to Support Science, Health and the Environment"

Para 1: "Kamala Harris has plans to improve health, boost the economy and mitigate climate change. Donald Trump has threats and a dangerous record"

A Ohio Sheriff calls on residents to write down the addresses of Vice President Harris supporters, that means people with Harris signs, This is illegal and Jim crow tactic from the 1950s I'm not understing why this is now a big story? this man needs to be fired immediately.
in reply to CandyK

Someone definitely shouldn't stick a Kamela Harris 2024 sign in front of his house (not on his private property, but in front).

It would be terrible if the lynch mob he's trying to form started mistaking him as one of their targets.

@wjmaggos one thing we could do if getting to Jackson is hard for folks is we could meet up in some place like Louisville. no agenda, just a get together. I know the city well but one thing I can tell you is that it doesn't have a train. Baltimore could be an option but more out of the way for @ryno. another city I know well. It does have a train. still not sure if it's close enough for @Cheesetruck though

years ago I had the idea to do something like this in Yosemite

in reply to Doug Whitfield [Minneapolis]

@wjmaggos @ryno that would be on top of the digital Constitutional Convention and Netlabel Week stuff, but we could do it whenever

Honestly this is an absolutely wild thing to say for a guy who bought a platform specializing in short plaintext posts because he wanted it to be funnier.

- Dem campaign page + Donation page
- State
- Position (State Rep, Senator, Board of Supervisors, etc)
- Disctrict or County

and i'll post whatever interesting stuff i find as i make this and have to google chump-maga-names

History has just been made with far too little acknowledgment:

President #Biden sat down with The Washington Blade — marking the first time a sitting president has given an exclusive interview to an #LGBTQ+ news outlet.

👍
The article has "newspaper" rather than "news outlet."

I think Out magazine's cover story interview with President Obama would be the first with a "news outlet."
