He was convinced by religious extremists that killing Roe would be wildly popular and make him a hero, make him their god. He took the bait and is incapable of admitting he is a sucker, a loser. He keeps bragging about it like someone buying lottery tickets, convinced it will be his surprise salvation.

OK, we really need to call out a very particular politic strategy we have seen aggressively deployed by the Trump Campaign these last few days.
What they have been doing is called a "dead cat strategy" or "deadcatting".

When things get really bad (the debate, Taylor Swift, the polls) the strategy is to do anything to change the subject. All of this crazy eating cats stuff is actually 'deadcatting'. Recognize it and call it out.

The U.S. government charges former Trump 2016 campaign adviser Dimitri Simes with working for a sanctioned Russian state television network and laundering the proceeds.
Simes sent Kushner a letter detailing potential talking points for Trump about Russia and also passed along derogatory information about Bill Clinton that was then forwarded to other representatives of the campaign. Donald Kurwa.
Simes’s think tank founded by crook Richard Nixon, helped arrange a foreign policy speech at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington at which Simes introduced traitor Donald, according to the report. Among those present was Sergei Kislyak, then the Russian ambassador to the U.S.

This is now my most cursed Linux command (obfuscated a bit):
rsync -avh --progress --ignore-existing -e 'ssh -p XXXX' /usr/share/ user@1.1.1.1:/usr/share/
I, uh, accidentally did an rm -r /usr/share on the remote machine here. Killed it after a few seconds and the machine still runs, but I broke a bunch of stuff (including perl and apt).
So, rather than doing a complete wipe and reinstall, I just copied over the contents of my local machine's /usr/share directory.
And somehow it works lol. Or at least it works well enough for apt and debsums to be usable again. debsums is *not* happy about what it's seeing though.
