@appassionato appears the pager shipment could not enter Lebanon directly & so was held in a port remotely (in Cyprus?) where unit 8200 could gain access and booby trap the whole shipment. The items were detonated by sending three [ERROR] messages to them and because they use hi-frequency FM radio technology and not standard cellular transmission methods they could target anyone around a location simultaneously without having numbers.
You KNOW Israel is working on this though!

Yh I think this means Israel knew and tampered with them before they were shipped to Hezbollah
So many ppl I know have been badly affected by this attack. None of them have anything to do with Hezbollah. They’re in fact all anti-Hezbollah. Not that this ever mattered to Israel.
