Since the advent of OAI-PMH, organizational operators have failed to ensure their endpoints expose #data optimally. Literally for 20 years I have read about this issue! Things are a bit better today but far too many open #repositories are still failing.
CORE has this data provider guide which functions as a steer, if you are interested in your service being harvested optimally -- which you should be! 😀

For a Jew, Lunduke seems not that bad. I appreciate him going after Big Tech, and Big Linux, and exposing their openly racist and sexist practices.
But, in this recent video, he asserts that "From the River to the Sea" is antisemitic, and there CAN ONLY BE one meaning, which is that all jews should be exterminated from the region.
I always thought this was a pro-jewish term, meaning that Israel will conquer this whole region.
What do you think?
Ya, it's literally the first paragraph of the 1977 likud charter.
With membership at new lows and no electoral wins to their name, it’s time for the Greens to ditch the malignant narcissist who’s presided over its decline.

Listen to the 'other sides' perspective is good and needed, but politicians like a single minded narrative that they control for their public. So we love censorship!
The US has imposed sanctions on yet another Israeli spyware firm, Intellexa, citing the “threats” that it poses to national security.
The move comes in the wake of the ongoing global scandal surrounding Israeli spyware companies, most notably NSO Group, which has been accused of selling espionage technology to some of the world’s most repressive regimes to target journalists, critics and human rights activists.

As noted in the article, Hezbollah uses pagers instead of smart phones because the microphones and cameras of smart phones are more of a risk of being used to spy on them. So I really doubt any of the pagers would be in innocent hands - at this point budget smart phones are cheaper.
If the claimed health official numbers are correct, an absolutely incredible number of Hezbollah were injured in this attack.
Not that I'm a fan of what Bibi is doing in Gaza and the West Bank every day. That's way worse in every respect.

It's quite probable that a significant number of people chose to use pagers instead of phones because of that. Also, the way Lebanese society is organised means many people depend upon Hezbollah services and hand-outs. So actually quite a lot of innocent people may have been hurt.
That's exactly like Israeli government pretends that they're killing "Hamas members" in Gaza. As Hamas has been running the place for 18 years, whoever works in public services, police, trash removal or street cleaning or bus driving is by this definition a "Hamas member".
