ProPublica has uncovered so many of these sorts of abuses in the judiciary, one has to wonder if the judges getting caught are just too dumb to be judges. Can you impeach a judge for being stupid? I can imagine: "I would like to introduce evidence to the committee showing that Judge Aileen Cannon is as dumb as a rock."

The resemblance to Chief Arkon Makbar in the DS9 Episode "Tribunal" is remarkable. IMHO.

I didn't realize pagers were a current technology. This is incredible. An escalation to prompt de-escalation seems like a risky bet at best.

Live updates: Pagers of Hezbollah members targeted in explosive attack in Lebanon, Lebanese security source says | CNN

@pinkears my understanding is that the Hezbollah network thought the pagers were safer for communicating than cell phones. They periodically get new ones. Apparently, Israel may have intercepted the latest supply chain and inserted small amounts of high grade explosive powder in them. Then, they could send one signal to arm them and a simple message to detonate the explosives, simultaneously, to hundreds of fighters in the network at the same time. Of course, this also caused a lot of collateral civilian injuries.

wow. ingenious, sneaky, and I feel badly for the people standing nearby.

Of course. She’d fit in perfectly in a Trump #SCOTUS.

Ya got your legal ethics, and the ya got your conservative legal ethics: and I thought legal ethics was an oxymoron. Little did I know.
