Troubled Lotus shows off wedge-like vision for an EV sportscar

The three-seater is a four-wheeled testbed for Lotus' imagination.

Great, another 1,000-hp EV supercar with zero practicality or applicability to my life.

Looks like a car out of Cyberpunk 2077. I like it. People comparing it to the Cybertruck doesn't realise that what makes the Cybertruck useless isn't necessarily its design, but that it is a truck. A vastly inferior work vehicle compared to a work van. Now gimme the cybervan and you've got my interest.

"Experts" say photo finish. I say landslide. I also say fuck you to the Supreme Court, if you really want to know.

And the ensuing revolt from that will make France's Revolution look like a birthday party.

Steve Cohen has stepped away from the trading floor.

While the billionaire hedge fund founder remains Point72 Asset Management’s co-chief investment officer, he’s no longer investing clients’ capital, per Bloomberg.

Hezbollah pagers explode across Lebanon, causing nearly 3,000 casualties.

Lebanese officials say Israel is to blame for the explosions. Hezbollah members had turned to pagers, believing they were more secure than phones. Israel has declined to comment.

A deer walked into a shop in Colorado, the owner gave her a peanut bar and about 30 minutes later she came back with her whole family, with the kids waiting outside.

I read "Ionic" as "Ironic" and had a chuckle only to discover that my it was my mind telling me the truth, not Celsius.

Didn't get the email notification for this newsletter for some reason. Great read as always.

Came here to mention that Jonathan Mann just dropped a video singing about the latest development in his lawsuit against the SEC, which you mentioned a few newsletters back:

My friend Corrie, who is hilarious and kind, and has helped me a lot on my own gender journey, has almost everything lined up to get some life-changing gender-affirming surgery. But times are super hard, and she doesn’t have the money to cover her expenses during the time she needs to take off from work to recover.

Her friend started a GoFundMe to help. If anyone has the means to and can help, I’d greatly appreciate it. gofund.me/da0bf1f7 #mutualaid #bipocmutualaid #queermutualaid

The "Paardenvissers" or fishermen on horseback from Oostduinkerke, Belgium have taken their Belgian (Brabant or Brabançon) horses, planks and nets into the breast-deep water of the North Sea trolling for shrimp since the 17th Century.
Sturdy and steady and willing to work is the name of the game when choosing a horse to perform the task while the tide is out.
The skill is handed down from father to son through the generations, and there are only a few left continuing in this tradition.

Majority Leader Schumer put Republicans to the test, and they failed. Trump and the GOP have been scrambling to hide their unpopular, outdated views on reproductive rights, but they’re not fooling anybody.

Today, every single Republican Senator had a clear chance to protect IVF, something they claim to support, but nearly every single one of them refused. There’s no reason to believe their words when we can see their actions. huffpost.com/entry/ivf-senate-…

It’s remarkable that in the many, many news articles about this vote, not one of them can explain the GOP objections to the legislation

Why are they voting no?

Here’s why: they think IVF *should* be illegal

Cruz is just disgusting. His self loathing is what makes him yearn for control over others.

Also today, in the Netcraft web server survey (yes, they're still doing that): "Cloudflare experienced the largest increase of 3.1 million sites (+2.41%) this month, now accounting for 11.6% (0.16pp) of sites seen by Netcraft."

@galaxis a guy I know told me he puts all his clients in Cloudflare. When I mentioned that cloudflare generally blocks me when I’m using Tor he was shocked.
