I haven't slept more than 2-3 hrs a night for about 3 or 4 weeks now
We (Mom our #ESA and I) aren't eating well as support for our #MutualAid has been dwindling over time
Tbh I don't think it's changed much at all but I've been running on fumes trying to keep us save from the death machine of #capitalism for over a year now
More in next #hoot but have this in a new tab
No one is safe in #capitalism with #colonializers deciding who lives and who dies
The death machine only wants #slaves no matter what creed or level of melanin you have - you are not safe
You might have a greater illusion of safety and comfort
But as those in #Poverty and living with #disability get legally euthanized by starvation - you're next
As they exterminate BIPOCs - you're next
Time won't stop it from happening #Trump or #NotTrump doesn't matter
Your heart does

The #colonializers have used "divide and conquer" for millenia or at least centuries
As you look at your human siblings and think "they've got more than me" or "they have enough help" or even "they're more marginalized" it creates hierarchy, division and perpetuates false dichotomies left and right (wording with purpose)
Not just within humanity but also seeing other animals and plants as less than it breeds #consumerism
This thing deserves to be consumed

In our last campaign, using a home brew, we had no GM rolls and no GM turns. It worked, but it's not a basic method. You have to be targeted during your turn, so we still used initiative within your turn, to see if a foe attacks first.
The way we tried, there were no GM rolls, meaning you have to use the negative for NPCs. They don't roll to search, you roll to see if you stay hidden. Their damage is fixed, but you roll resistance, etc...
It doesn't have to be that sophisticated.

I'm finding it a little difficult to muster sympathy for Atherton residents. Pretty sure they'll be fine, regardless.

Replacing gasoline with ethanol has changed landscapes across the globe as grasslands and forests give way to cornfields. Researchers are deeply divided over what this means for the planet. Here’s the science behind the conflict.

Why learn the names of flowers, plants, trees, birds, insects, or other aspects of nature? Just point your #smartphone at whatever you’re looking at, and in a snap it’ll tell you what it is. No nature guide (book or human) could possibly compete.

My current solution for groceries is a Burley Travoy trailer. Unless I'm lugging something really heavy like a bag of potting soil or a car battery, I barely notice it when I'm towing it.
Before that I used a milk crate with a small cargo net to hold stuff in. If you stick with a basket, a cargo net is really the way to go, it's a web of linked bungie cords and the links make it far better at holding stuff in than regular bungies.
