I just got a newsletter from @haubles that reminded me it's been too long since I've sung the praises of Fastly for the CDN services they provide to infosec.exchange.

I don't generally like to plug things here, but I have to tell you that I've been incredibly impressed by Fastly's service and their people. If you're a developer looking for CDN services, or otherwise in the market for CDN services give Fastly a look since they have a free tier for developers now.

You can find info on their free tier here: fastly.com/pricing and the announcement is here: fastly.com/instant

Trump-allied Pac fires canvassing vendor in crucial states weeks before election

Elon Musk’s "America Pac" replaces voter turnout operations in Arizona and Nevada with less than 50 days until election

The shakeup comes at a crunch moment for the Trump campaign,
which has outsourced virtually its entire ground game operation to a number of political action committees in this presidential cycle.

America Pac is seen as the most ambitious, with a presence in every swing state.

As a result of the shakeup, America Pac has not canvassed any neighborhoods in Arizonaand Nevada on behalf of the Trump campaign for the past few days as it resets its operations in the two states.

America Pac hopes the roughly 300 canvassers employed by the September Group will be rehired by its successor, but whether that occurs remains uncertain.

NOTHING JUSTIFIES STARE SPONSORED CYBER TERRORISM.

no matter how the media twists this latest massive state sponsored cyber terror attack (since #Stuxnet) against Lebanon, this should be condemned and the role Motorola played in helping the Israeli cyber army to blow up pagers all over Lebanon should be investigated and condemned.

100s of innocent civilians, many of them doctors and nurses were injured during yesterdays cyber attacks against Motorola made pagers that turned them into remote controlled bombs.

PS. The fact that the attack was performed on the 42nd anniversary of #Sabra and #Shatila massacre makes it even worse. one of the worst crimes against humanity that went unpunished and the man behind it later became the PM of Israel.

Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. #Vance has shared some details about
❌the Trump-Vance campaign’s #health #care #plan,
🔥and it appears to allow insurers to charge more for preexisting conditions.
Vance gave details on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday, where he told Kristen Welker that
Donald Trump’s plan involves “deregulating insurance markets, so that people can actually choose a plan that makes sense for them.”

newrepublic.com/post/186047/jd…

in reply to Chuck Darwin

I remember how health insurance deregulation worked the first time.

Deny coverage for sick people.
Deny coverage for old people.
Deny coverage for PREGNANT WOMEN
Deny coverage for NEWBORNS (they weren't on the policy, right?)
Deny coverage for women of childbearing age
Deny coverage for any preexisting conditions, diabetes, kidney problems, etc.

I remember fighting to correct these insurance company abuses.

It sounds good only to healthy young people, w/o children.

It also makes no sense to only pay for insurance through your employer. You get sick, you lose your job, your insurance, your home.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

"The most generous read of what Republicans are saying is that simply identifying what Trump either has done (tried to overturn the results of an election with violence) or says he will do (govern in a second term with quasi-dictatorial means) are too dangerous to say publicly. In other words, Trump’s own extremism, violence and anti-constitutional actions paradoxically and absurdly make it too dangerous to criticize him."

@jbaggs Among other things (once you find it, which takes a while), the second pitch is a down-lead to a saddle. Then you do a very sketchy traverse pitch where any fall is going to be a big swing through/into the trees. We ran out of time after the third pitch and backed off. I haven’t been back.
