I just gave $47 for our 47th president. (I thought about waiting until there were 47 days left but I just couldn't wait that long.)

[solved ⬇️] This seems like a very basic feature for #mobileLinux, so I'm sure someone has to know how to do it but I just can't figure it out: is there a way to use #PAM to have the login be a simple set of digits while all other admin access still requires a proper password (a long list of alphanumerics and symbols).
I don't want to type a long password every time I want to unlock the screen of a phone/tablet but I want sudo/doas commands to be reasonably well protected.
Defaults rootpw
to /etc/sudoers with visudo and you are done.
(No idea how to do this with doas, yet).

Took a little bit of tweaking to get the client full screen (Windows, because $EMPLOYER remote desktop won't allow #linux clients, so I have to use a VM to remote into their VM. Much productivity very Microsoft).
Not only do you have to install the spice add-ons to the client (spice-space.org/), if your host machine has a big enough display you might have to crank up the VRAM of the client machine, which nobody tells you about.
After installing the Spice add-ons it was only letting me do 2560*1600 or some such. So I set the RAM VRAM and VGAMEM (not sure if all of these are necessary) in the preferences for the virtual machine to 131072 (2^17) and now it's happily filling my 3840x2160 monitor.
Always good to get rid of proprietary software for an #OpenSource alternative.
The rest is there for no reason, apparently: just look at the "Pricing" section #facepalm
