No physical evidence connected Anthony Boyd to a 1993 murder. He was sent to death row on the word of a co-defendant who testified under the threat of capital punishment.Michael Barajas (Bolts)

Europeans could look to the west and see the US as a sick framily member.
The US is a powerful player - but its system is shocked, as it has been many times. They are suffering and we should support them. That is what friends do, and in the free world we value the dream of kindness. And that should be rewarded.
Help them dream, as they dream.
Vanda in Winter - All For Gardening
It might be 40 degrees in Manhattan right now but my little Ms Vanda is loving the cold and thriving! She’s proof that a Vanda can do well on the east coast.Gardener (All For Gardening)
Stereolab tonight from up in the posh seats.
Weirdly they actually cost the same as the stalls but you need to book them quickly (they cost us £37 each!). A private booth for 4 people is pretty sweet, no putting up with anyone else's bullshit (talking, farting, pushing or blocking the view) at the gig.
Autistic folk, this is definitely worth considering!
The 2nd picture is the opposite view of the boxes. Amazing early 1950s futurism in the concert hall 😍
That's fantastic.
How was the performance?
I actually only attended my first gig last year and got a box, which was only fractionally more expensive than regular seats. Definitely worth the money, I think, in terms of making the experience more autism friendly.
The performance was good. Sadly they didn't play French Disko. My friend who got us the tickets saw them quite recently and said they opened with it but at 200 mph, like they wanted to get it out of the way.
I'd never considered a box as an option before. I was struck how much I enjoyed the personal space and freedom. Having an autistic person in my life, and generally being aware of differing needs, it was a real lightbulb moment for me that it's a great option for people who might need a different experience.

I will donate. Other people should too. You feel like this isn't important like food and housing. Let me remind you that community is really priceless these days, And the fediverse allows community over distance. ;)
Thank you very much for the support, very grateful! 🙏 The donations make a huge difference in keeping all the sites and accounts going.
Just to add though, obviously people should only give if they can spare the money! A lot of people are struggling nowadays, and totally understand if people can't spare anything.

in reply to Jamie Teh • • •I don't think it is a coincidence that the demographics most responsible for pushing AI out onto people are also demographics that have learned to become frighteningly good at both personal and cultural levels of deflection.
Historically, certain groups have been really good at deflection and changing subjects and focus away from any topics that could disrupt the status quo around inequities and privileges.
So yeah: agree that AI is and has been a huge cultural level ...distraction
