Because you’re afraid he’ll pee on things in the apartment?” Theo scowled at his boyfriend’s glibness, as if not wanting his fancy apartment to smell like cat piss was a silly concern. “Y-Yes,” he admitted, not hiding his mild irritation. “I d-don’t know why you’re l-laughing. Cat piss r-reeks.” “I’m not laughing about that,” Lysander murmured reassuringly, cupping Theo’s face to give him a gentle kiss. “I’m just…touched by how conscientious you’re always trying to be about not impacting my life, when I’ve pretty much bulldozed through your own.” Doubt diluted Theo’s scowl at his lover’s phrasing, his brows drawing together more from regret than irritation. “You didn’t…’b-bulldoze’ anything…”
more writing: “Yes I did,” Lysander countered, his smile fading, though his eyes remained kind. “I mean, the only reason you’re even considering moving is because being with me is, as you pointed out, opening you up to potential harassment. And now you can’t even hang out with your friends without conversations getting…weird, once they find out you’re dating someone famous.” His lips twitching into something bittersweet, Lysander looked away as he said, “Funny how people always dream about being famous, and while it has its perks—I’m not going to be egotistical enough to claim it doesn’t—it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, either.” “N-never said it was.” Feeling guilt twist in his chest at making his boyfriend feel guilty for aspects of dating a celebrity that the singer had no control over—guilt-ception, as it were—Theo pulled his lover’s hands into his own and squeezed them tightly, resting his forehead against Lysander’s and breathing out a low sigh. “And…e-even if that’s true, I don’t regret it. I’m g-glad I fell in love with y-you.”

Looking down at that ring, the singer drew Theo’s hands up slowly, kissed each knuckle softly, before he met Theo’s gaze again and said, “Thank you. Thank you for everything you have given up to be with me. I swear, I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to make it up to you.” A light shudder of emotion racked through Theo at the sentiment—the rest of his life. Not just a fling…not something temporary. Forever. Unable to breathe for a tense moment, Theo smiled at last, though he felt tears gathering in the corners of his eyes, deeply affected by the seriousness of the implication. “Okay,” he said at last, not knowing what else there was to say. They’d already made love, at least as much as the small, stained room allowed—now all he could do, he supposed, was live out the rest of that theoretical future, stay besides Lysander no matter how his moods might swing, do his best to be that steady presence that Liliana had charged him with. ‘Please don’t let go.’

I can't go to the restroom in a public entertainment venue like a concert hall or auditorium anymore without thinking about the vast disparity between toilet facilities per square foot in sex-segregated "women's" restrooms vs. "men's".

If you are a cis man who uses urinals, I encourage you to ask yourself, every time you're standing at a wall of urinals, how many toilet stalls would fit in the same space. Keep that in mind when you see the long line for the other restroom.

When I was changing the Goblin's diapers in public restrooms, there were so many times when I had to duck into a "women's" restroom because the "men's" didn't have a changing station.

So that's part of the picture too, at least in certain venues, and another reason why the stereotype that "women take so long in the bathroom" is such infuriating bullshit.

@Spencer I now have seen at least one venue have 3 stalls for women, and one stall + 1 urinal for men, and (un)surprisingly there wasn’t any line on either side.
