It’s always been the case that people who don’t like the look of windfarms say they kill huge numbers of birds, yet on ours the site manager says it’s rare they find any collision victims (that’s supported by wider research): and ours is a place where hen harriers are often seen. It’s a safe place for them because those bloody* gamekeepers can’t get at them with their thrice bloody shotguns.

Truth be told, leaving KDP select has hurt my German sales. I made most of my money with KU reads. The English books weren't never that popular to begin with, so 🤷♀️.
Do I regret it? No. As said, I'm not in for the money (though I like to cover my expenses) and to know that you can now order my books via a regular store is very satisfying.
