A silly poll, about duplication!

If you could, right at this very second or perhaps several hours from now, flawlessly duplicate yourself, would you? There would be two of you, identical, with all of your memories up to the point of duplication, and from there you’d be two separate yous… And in three weeks you’d be able to either absorb yourselves together into one whole with both of your memories, or keep on trucking with two of you. Everyone around you would maybe find this bewildering but it wouldn’t be beyond their comprehension, and there wouldn’t be any legal trouble you couldn’t sort out with just stating that you’d undergone comprehensive spontaneous mitosis.

Wer wissen will, wie man Autokrat*innen richtig unter Druck setzt: Man dreht ihnen den Zugang zu Geld ab und entzieht die Option der Korruption und des Wirtschaftens in die eigene Tasche. Das Verbindende und der Motor bei heutigen Autokrat*innen ist nicht eine Ideologie, sondern das sich Bereichern.

Der Rückzug könnte noch andere Gründe haben. Eine Trump-Firma wollte in Stuttgart-Feuerbach einen riesigen Büroturm bauen. Einer bei der Genehmigungsbehörde hat recherchiert, und herausgefunden, dass bei dieser und anderen Trump-Fimen Projekte krass häufig scheitern, oft allerdings erst, wenn der Rohbau steht.
Die Masche: eine Projektgesellschaft sammelt Investoren-Geld. Die Planung und etlicher anderer Kram wird an Trump-Firmen vergeben. Diese werden mit dem eingesammelten Kapital bezahlt und sind raus aus der Nummer. Danach platzt das ursprüngliche Projekt, die Trump-Firmen ziehen aus dem Projekt raus und den anderen Investoren bleibt die Bauruine...
