If anyone wants to know what the Bondi Beach shooting would have looked like, look at Vegas 2017.

The difference is what we call means restriction. The Australia shooters couldn’t own assault weapons. They have an unarmed, unsuspecting, dense crowd, and were pretty ineffective in their assault (car assaults on marketplaces, for instance, often have higher casualties). In the US, this would have been an absolute disaster. These guys had to reload, they had to crank a bolt between shots.

@ewen
Last time i checked there was 1.2 gun per capita in the US. next on the list of places that ain't an active warzone are Switzerland and Finland with about 0.4 gun per capita.
Both countries have marginal levels of gun violence and no mass shootings i know of.

Australia has about 0.15 gun per capita.

in reply to klegdixal

You left out Norway, any reason for that?

Less guns = less violence.
Less Rupert Murdoch = less violence.

Europe’s sole supplier of TNT, in Poland, sends much of its production to US, which uses it to facilitate the genocide in Gaza by Israel.

Urgent Appeal

I am a student from Gaza facing extremely difficult conditions.
Due to the war, displacement, living in a tent, and harsh winter rain, continuing my education has become a daily struggle.

I urgently need support to cover my university tuition fees so I don’t lose my chance to continue my studies.
Education is my only path forward

I famosi progressi di Trump che sull'Ucraina tora la volata a Putin esattamente come sulla Palestina fa il gioco di Netanyahu con buona pace del diritto internazionale

in reply to Globalist.it

diritto internazionale? Sta affondando, arrembando imbarcazioni in tutti gli oceani. E non una parola dalla comunità Internazionale.
