I am terribly sorry to interrupt your doomscrolling, but today's Low Quality Ad is for this Squirrel and Acorn Plush Toy.
Is that acorn way too large? Yes. Is he still going to bury it anyway? Yes. Will he forget where he buried it even though it's ginormous? Almost definitely.

Plot twist: Realizing that it was going to be buried by the squirrel, the acorn decided to devour the mammal. This happens sometimes. Nature is crazy.

#FairyTaleTuesday #Celtic: `On the west coast of Scotland, the #Cailleach ushers in winter by washing her great plaid (Gaelic: féileadh mòr) in the Gulf of Corryvreckan (Gaelic: Coire Bhreacain - 'whirlpool/cauldron of the plaid'). This process is said to take three days, during which the roar of the coming tempest is heard as far away as twenty miles (32 km) inland. When she is finished, her plaid is pure white and snow covers the land.`

They called these vivid and beautiful streamers "Nimble Men" and "Merry Dancers", and believed they sometimes danced and sometimes waged war.`

Reminder to count your cards every so often to make sure you have all 78. It's easy to lose one, especially if you're an erratic shuffler, and you won't know if you don't count them. (Or you find them while cleaning your cats' hoard of toys from under the couch.)

That sounds like the voice of experience. You shuffle erratically?

@SJAsh_03 lol, yes, if at least one card doesn't pop out I'm not doing it right 😂

I just encountered the statistic that every year 3 tons of concrete are placed per person on earth and now I'm wondering how much of socialism you could reproduce by instituting a rule that you're not allowed to use concrete unless you can find some person to allocate that much concrete out of their 3 tons/year personal budget. Want to build a 2700-ton skyscraper? Better find 900 people to affirmatively agree they want that skyscraper built
in reply to mcc

globe + avocado emoji screenname people remind us that you can find 900 people who will support just about anything. if the Device That Ends All Life On Earth The Moment It's Constructed (as opposed to nuclear weapons, which merely might do so at an undermined point in the future) only needed 900 yes votes we'd have been toast long ago.

I think unfortunately this is one of those times the "concrete georg, who sits on his ass and owns 30000 million tons of concrete", is actually real
