Where does one go to find freelancers for things these days? I know Fiverr doesn't have a good reputation, but not especially why it doesn't, and I'm not sure where else to look if I need to.
(I'm asking this as a vague in-theory: I'm not hiring anyone for anything right now, but I might take on more work in the first part of next year and if I do so then I might think about whether I could speed up creative work or reduce stress by paying people for one or two very small things).
Fiverr these days is mostly AI slop, people passing AI slop as their own, or alot of very low effort clickbait stuff. You really need to spend a WHILE on their looking for even 1 good one these days.
I think there’s other creative platforms geared at this without AI but I can’t remember the names offhand

I’ve already been test driving Vivaldi (Chromium, which isn’t nearly ideal, but purely to be able to sync my iPhone and Windows laptop). But I may just skip trying for that perk and go with different browsers on each device — find separate browsers that each care about privacy and security — and move on. 🤷♂️

The new and trusted software additions, mean, deleting Firefox and finding something else, which is where I’m headed as soon as I can get my mind set to jumping to another browser
