@nelsonavatar por acaso acredito que o ministro está apenas a passar as culpas para os funcionários dos serviços públicos, aproveitando alguma má vontade no seguimento da Greve Geral.
Proponho uma alternativa à opinião do ministro, opinião essa que ele tirou seguramente do cu.
Eu proponho que a razão pela qual a manutenção dos serviços públicos é reduzida é a de esses serviços serem, ano após ano, sub-orçamentados.
@Disputatore Tem sido um processo que noto na area metropolitana de Lisboa. Mesmo no teu caso estás a dizer que um dos teus filhos estudou 9 anos no privado e outro 4 anos.
@nelsonavatar mais, porque ainda falta o pré-escolar. Mas para teres um filho em pré-escolar público tens mesmo de ser pobre, caso contrário não tens vaga. Ou pelo menos era assim quando os meus filhos eram pequenos.
Mas a questão é que estás a dar dois passos de lógica que não carecem de demonstração. O primeiro é que por não usarem os serviços públicos todos numa fase da sua vida, as pessoas concluirão que nunca os vão utilizar.

No meu caso, e acredito que mais pessoas pensem como eu, um dos papéis do Estado é o da redistribuição de riqueza. Achar que o Estado e os meus impostos só servem para garantir aquilo que eu consumo vai contra aquele princípio.
Percebo o teu ponto de vista e vejo muito positivo que acredites na logica redistributiva do Estado, mas muita da direita já nao pensa assim. Se nao usam os serviços publicos, eles acham que não o deviam pagar via impostos. E impõe um discurso dos pobres "sorvedores" de recursos publicos e um "fardo" orçamental
A classe media faz muita pressao, por vezes de forma inconsciente. Quando se queixam da carga fiscal sobre o preço dos combustíveis, quando exigem mais estradas por excesso de congestionamento, quando exigem mais deduções fiscais. O orçamento de Estado não estica e os governos fazem opções eleitorais.

Sanam, an Iranian immigrant who came to the US over a decade ago, was finally about to become a US citizen. Years of navigating paperwork, approvals, tests, and security vetting, had brought her to the last step: a naturalization ceremony.
But then, just two days before she was to take her oath on 3 December, the US government abruptly cancelled it.
Sanam was shocked and confused at first – there was no explanation. She didn't understand why the ceremony was cancelled when she hadn't done anything wrong, she told the BBC.
Later, she found out it was because of where she was born, and sadness and frustration crept in.
'It's been just years and just feeling drained and feeling like, can I even keep going with this process? Because it's been so hard,' Sanam said. 'It's just very heartbreaking.'"

it's always my struggle. I love spending time with people but I hate leaving the house. I used to love my house in Calgary because we hosted parties a lot and I could get my social fix while never leaving home, and I could simply go to my room if I got tired
