Short version: old-fashioned keys in a dish. Fuller description: In an old brown metal dish, worn old-fashioned keys with a metal label on one of them saying in Danish 'Residence no. 1, First floor'. Beside them, on two separate pieces of white enamel, as if split apart, the letters U and D. Together 'Ud' is 'Out' in Danish. Or flipped around, 'Du' is 'You singular'. There's something melancholic about the sight of these. There's a sort of institutional look about them. That's even without knowing that this is a close-up of one of the exhibits at the Overtaci museum in Aarhus, Denmark - a museum of psychiatric treatment and art produced by patients at the former Risskov Psychiatric Hospital.
